“When I moved 2hrs away and West Park still remained the vet I took both my girls too. They are the ONLY vet I trust and will bring my babies too!!! They are not money hungry, they do the work they do out of the love they have for animals and it shows. I’ve been bringing my girls here for 7 years and they have always provided very affordable, quality care for my girls. Most vets try to get you to pay for things you really do not need, or they force products on you that are supper expensive, AND most places if you can’t afford to get or do what they are trying to push on you, they will try to guilt trip you into doing it or heavily judge you if you can not afford it. West Park is the most genuine vet I’ve ever brought my girls to and have never done this to me or anyone I’ve recommended to them! “I called after hours. My cat had most likely got hit by a car and was in bad shape. The doctor met me at the clinic and opened up just for me and Frito. Very knowledgeable and professional. He basically saved Frito's life that night. He also followed up with me the next week to see how Frito was doing. He's not cheap by any definition of the word, but he's a straight shooter and he really cares about his patients and his customers.”

“I highly recommend this clinic for your pet's care. I went to them because our 14 year old Boston was doing poorly. Instead of just recommending euthanasian, Dr. Bollinger tried a variety of treatments to keep our Whistler with us. I am happy to say that she responded and is still living a good life. However, when the time comes, I feel safe and secure knowing Dr. Bollinger will have the upmost compassionate when handling our dog.”

We dropped DreX off not knowing what to expect. He called to explain everything to us once he finished operating on DreX. DreX has been a patient for six years now. We choose him & his staff for all of our dogs needs. He’s smart and I know he cares about our dog.”

“The Ridgefield 'staff' is extremely friendly and personable. I think I know each of them by their first name! I have been with them for over 17 years (throughout my first fur baby's 16-year-old life), and we now have 2 rescues. The staff is super helpful ... and I know if I have any kind of issue with my dogs, they are more than happy to help (ask the VET), and they call me back promptly. The 'VET' that tops my list at Ridgefield is Dr. Robicheaux. She is caring and patient, and CALM. She answers all of my questions and calms me with her expertise and disposition.”

“The service that this clinic provides is unmatched! The doctor is always available to his clients no matter the time of day/night & is quick to respond on emergencies, & because of that, my dog was able to survive an illness that many other pets would not have!On a Saturday around midnight, my 2 year old dog, Cane, began having muscle spasms & acting as though he was having an allergic reaction. His symptoms appeared to be mild, but were quickly progressing. I called Dr. De La Houssaye a little after midnight to express what was going on & he immediately answered the phone & rushed to the clinic to begin getting things ready for Cane’s arrival. No time was wasted! If it were not for his immediate response & preparation, I am certain that Cane would not have survived. By the time I could get Cane to the clinic, he was in great distress and had a fever of 108+. Dr. De La Houssaye immediately began treatment & attempting to get his temperature down. After completing the necessary diagnostic testing & administering IV drugs, my dog’s fever began to subside & Cane finally started responding to us! After Cane was stabilized, we were advised to keep him at the clinic for monitoring. The next day, Cane began to go downhill again & that is when Dr. De La Houssaye was able to keep Cane stabilized & refer us to LSU to be seen by a specialist. He had felt that Cane had a rare condition that could only be correctly treated by an internal medicine specialist. After being under LSU’s care for several days, Cane was diagnosed with exactly that. He has primary hypoparathyroidism, a disorder that is very rare in male dogs his age. Dr. De La Houssaye still continues to check on Cane & I can tell that he truly cares about the well being of his patients. I will forever be grateful for all that was done for Cane & I recommend that everyone consider taking their pets to this clinic! The care that your pet will receive is unmatched & I can assure you, they will do the best they can for both you and your pet in any emergency situation. THANK YOU, De La Houssaye Animal Hospital!!”
