Would never recommend anyone to bring a truck here. They lie and will destroy your truck and blame it on something else. The secatary also smokes in the office so be aware.

Very unprofessional to say the least. Did NOT do "quality repairs, done RIGHT, the First Time". When I called for an explanation as to why they need $4000 from us after not fixing what they said they would (AFTER ALREADY CHARGING US $1100), I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on.

Called to get an estimate. I was told they only do an estimate if the truck is there. Since I did my own diagnosis and am only looking for an estimate. I asked him for hourly rates and he refused it give it to me. Says it never works out without their diagnosis. Sounds like a scam to me! Called tons of shops all over the US over the years and never had one say that before!

Well I brought my truck there to get diagnosed. Told them don’t do anything until contacting me (I didn’t want to pay for something I could do myself) I get a call saying it cost $500 to “get it started” and would be $6000 to change the rear main seal!! (I brought it there for an oil leak). I go to pick it up and the total is $565. I look under the hood and it’s missing a radiator cap and won’t start! I had to jump it off from trying to turn it over to crank. So I take it to another shop where the mechanic tells me it’s not even the rear main seal leaking. It was else where. Two thumbs down!!

Took two months to install an engine, then I spent another month tightening loose bolts. Not to mention all the oil and coolant leaks I now have.

My sister was charged 100 dollars in fees to pay with a credit card. Which left her with 15 dollars to her name. I’m sorry but NO GOOD COMPANY WOULD DO THAT TO A PERSON.

I would just like everyone in the world to know that Southern Diesel in Gonzales Louisiana charge me $100 worth of fees just for using my credit card instead of cash. I don't think it is fair at all, they just wiped out my bank account so I could get my truck back that has been sitting over there for a month and a half waiting to be able to be paid for. I need opinions and ideas on what I should do about it? I am now broke I have $15 to last me till next Friday and have no idea what I'm going to do and they tell me they can't help me. They did not inform me at all that they were charging this fee.
