I have contemplated heavily on what to say here because I wanted to confirm that my experiences are accurate.I have consistently shopped here at Christmas time for the last three years. If you like beautiful, quality peices and posess exquisite taste...this is your place for decorating needs. I have no issue with paying for what I want. So after numerous visits, and receiving glare after glare...spending hundreds of dollars...I must make a statement. ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR ARE NOT INDECENT! ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR DON'T STEAL!Please, I would rather you place a sign on your door that says WE DONT WANT YOUR MONEY! Now... I will be coming back. When I get this same energy again...you will know that this review came from me. A decent, law abiding, tax paying, hard working citizen. Please people...it's 2022. When does this end!! God bless you and your minds...may He arrest you with conviction for how you treat nice people. On my visit this past week...I literally stood in line with 2 cashiers behind the counter...the moment someone of caucasian decent walked up...suddenly another register opened. You guys are soooo obvious. Even my daughter noticed it. Please stop it! Please. The gates of heaven are closed on your behalf until you purify your hearts. God made us all!

This has been one of my favorite places to shop whenever I'm in Louisiana. Beautiful items, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, wonderful aroma scented house sprays and candles,with a great and friendly staff. This Mississippi girl will be back soon.

Thank you for the excellent job you did on my wedding ring. Had diamonds added to the wedding band, it required very detailed hand work. The workmanship was exquisite. I am so very pleased.

Some items seem a bit high dollar for this town but if you understand the brand, it will make sense. I love having a gift shop that is nicer quality and not cheap dollar general taste. You can always find a gift for any occasion, the floral section is heavenly and they are a local business I am happy to support. Do not miss Christmas shopping and tree decorations from this place!

I brought my wedding rings here to be resized, and came in to pick them up after they left me a voicemail that they were ready for me. When I gave them my ticket that detailed my rings' appearances, they went into the jewelry closest and then handed me an envelope of someone else's jewelry - a gold necklace chain - instead of my rings. I told the person who was helping me that the chain wasn't mine and she said, "It has your name on it." After about 10 minutes of searching through all the envelopes of jewelry they were working on, they finally found my wedding rings. I won't be trusting them with any more of my jewelry. My wedding set may not have a high appraised value, but the sentimental value is priceless.

Dry Cleaning? I'm confused! I thought this was the jewelry/furniture store. Great items decent prices. Lady there was very helpful with my budget and liking. Also, had a watch repaired while shopping. I thought I would have to make a trip back to p/u watch. Not at all all fixed and polished when I was ready to leave. Would definitely shop again. Hate the large stores and the parking. This is a diamond in the middle of Gonzales!

My first visit to Roussels ever - I needed a piece of jewelry cleaned and called Roussels, they asked me to bring it in. I arrived was told the piece could be cleaned and that it would only take a few minutes.Within less than 5 minutes my item was ready and told it was on the house! The woman that helped me at the counter was so friendly and everything in the shop is beautiful! Prices are great too. I will definitely shop here moving forward!
