I was always hesitant to join pf with the stigma surrounding the chain. But once golds closed I found myself trying out new gyms to my dissatisfaction they all had major flaws. I joined Pf and so far I've enjoyed it. I think if you keep to yourself and be respectful you won't have issues. There isn't free weight benches but plenty of Smith machines. The gym is large and very clean.

The Gonzales Plante Fitness has become much better. The facility is being kept cleaned regularly now, which includes the bathroom and equipment.

Clean, cool atmosphere with plenty of available machines, even when busy. I never feel judged and enjoy each workout.

All the staff or friendly but professional the new equipment is fantastic the different work out zones are perfectly placed the new massage chairs are the best along with the hydro massage beds not to mention the cryo recovery room ❤️❤️❤️which is my favorite

Cancelled the account for my teenage son by sending in a letter.
The GM claimed they received it 3 weeks after the actual day it was mailed, by that point "too late to cancel the annual fee." My landlord's check was sent the same day and the check was posted a full two weeks before it magically appeared for Planet Fitness.
Absolutely make sure you do not trust them to be honest and send your mail registered/certified.
