In Februrady 2024, my daughter and I came and bought a rat, a cage, rat/hamster/ food, pet cage water bottle, bedding, whee, hammock and a toy. About a $130 total. The young man helping us was very nice. The water bottle leaked when using it at home. Two weeks later we came back to the store and bought a glass bottle instead. I accidently had thrown away the bag with the bad pet water bottle away. Oh well. So we bought another $20 glass water bottle. At the check out the woman (manager) says we can't have a bag because we only had one item. I was at a loss for words LOL because it came out so hostile and it just made us feel so unwanted. I took one of the brochures by the entrance and used it to wrap up the glass pet bottle. And we left.
We have since then bought many items for the rat, a mini carrier, rat leash, cage bedding, wheel - all from amazon. My daughter just got a puppy last week and I spent $300 on puppy things already on Amazon. I would have prefered it to go to a local store because my daughter enjoys meeting people since we are new here and she has no friends. And it's located just a few miles from us. But haven't been back since Februrary. : -( :-( - just real sad.

DO NOT BUY DRY DOG FOOD FROM THIS LOCATION! I have bought two different bags as well as two different brands and both had red legged ham beetles in them! They clearly have an infestation in the store. When I called to report it the lady just blew me off and said that she would make note for her manager and that it just happens like that sometimes…. So I repeat DO NOT purchase food from them!

The store workers were wonderful but the groomer Michaela was very unprofessional and rude. Unfortunately I won't be back, she refused at first to service one of my dogs because she didn't agree with how I wanted him groomed then criticized myself as an owner. Additionally she kept correcting how I spoke to my dogs and continued to poke fun.
My next dog, who has been diagnosed by a vet with severe anxiety. As I was telling the dog goodbye and calming her down, Michaela threw down her collar, pulled the dog away from me and started dragging her to the back. Needless to say, I'm not happy and will never be back.

I was asked if I wanted a bag, and if so, a plastic one would be 10 cents, and a reusable would be 1 dollar. I think if things are bought a bag should not have to bought also.

Bought 500 mealworms. I found that 80% of the worms were dead when I got home. Won’t be going back for mealworms. Waste of $20.

Awful customer service, from young long browned hair female employee to so call manager. They refused to sell me 1 blood red cichlid even though I informed them we've raised 2 cichlids in 10 gallon tank for 2 yrs and moved them into bigger tank which they've been in for last 3 years. Yet they have multiple fish in each tank! This store has declined over the years and have lost my business!

So today 4/7/24 Brayden helped us. We bought a fish on Friday and it died yesterday. Brayden was extremely knowledgeable vs the young girl who helped us Friday 4/5. She was not helpful and forth coming with any information. I didn’t know we needed to get our water ready and let cycle for a few days before putting a fish in it. Brayden told us exactly what we needed to know. We will definitely come back by the end of the week and buy our new addition and safely put it in the tank. Hopefully he’ll be working. Thanks for all your help!!
