Let me start by saying we've never had a bad experience in home depot before. But today wasn't like any other day I guess. First the garden center opened up late. So we had to drag the cart across the parking lot because they was all down by the garden center. They opened the doors after we got into the center. After loading the cart up with 16 bags of soil. Reaching the check out one of the guys out there was playing on his phone and my husband had to move out of his way because he was to to be aware a customer might need his help. While my husband continued shopping I stood by the cart. I ask the young man why would they leave sprinklers on why people are shopping(I was going to buy plants but every table front and back had sprinklers going). He told me I'd have to take that up with management. We finally get to the register and one brand of soil was ringing up a dollar more then the sign said. When my husband said something she ask my husband if he still wanted it. And that they probably just tagged it wrong. I had to go to customer service to get my refund that meant two more walks across your parking lot one to talk to your csr and the second to get my husband credit card for my refund. Csr was great no problems. But the garden center was awful. No understanding that their job actually makes a difference. We have been Lowe's shoppers for years. We started shopping with you a few years ago because it is a little more cost effective. But if I'm trading that for customer support while I'm shopping I'd rather pay the higher price. And only use yall when I'm having something delivered.

Her name was Alexus and she had great customer service but I notice nobody else working which made since because they all looked like they didn’t want to work . She greeted me and made sure I got my receipt and ask if I needed help bringing it to my car. 0 stars for the store as a whole but 5 stars for Alexus

My wife and myself went to purchase a new washer / dryer Samsung set on April 25th Home Depot only gives you 48 hrs on appliances to return /replace it with another if any problems should happen with in that time frame. It was delivered on April 30th and may 3rd it would not power on. I have been dealing with Samsung ever since they were supposed to send someone out to my house on the 9th of may waited all day no one ever showed up to my home. I called them back, the reason they told my wife they never came out was because they were waiting on a part. how can you order a part if you never seen the dryer so it was scheduled for the 14th of may again no one showed up to my house called Samsung back up to let them know that this has been going on since the 3rd of may and this is unacceptable now today Samsung tells me that the company that was supposed to came yesterday will not be able to come out until the 22 this dryer is a warranty job maybe that’s the problem I don’t know I normally do thousands of dollars yearly with Home Depot have been a loyal customer for years. as for as Samsung I will tell everyone I know don’t ever purchase that brand it is complete garbage and they give you a complete runaround
That’s is my experience with Samsung.
Update still waiting for Samsung to take responsibility to fix my dryer people if you read this don’t purchase Samsung they will leave you with broken appliances purchased on 4-25-2024

I went to buy doors and windows but no help in sight. We met a couple wandering around trying to buy exterior doors but couldn't find any help. There was a help desk in the doors/window section but not a soul in sight. Went to Lowes found the doors and windows and great service, spent a tidy sum! Home Depot was a frustrating total waste of time.

Ordering online for "pick up" is just getting to the point where it's a waist of time. You show up, & still have to stand around & wait For more than an hour !!!! It's bad enough, nobody has decent customer service, so you order online to AVOID the poor customer service & terrible attitudes.... then you arrive & everyone is just looking at you like ..."um, he said, she said, I have no idea, idea can't find out..."
It's becoming worth my time & patience to go with the local mom & pop landscape company that overly deliver superior customer service ok every level !!
This is awful home depot !!!

Waited 15 minutes while the service desk tried to page someone to the paint counter four (4) times.
A nearby associate, who was talking on her cell phone the entire time, eventually came over - only to let me know that their color matching machine was not working and that someone needs to call IT. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to make that call or if someone else will, but I went to Lowe's instead. BTW, she never stopped talking on her phone while she was helping me or the customer behind me.

My wife went yesterday to get potting soil and flowers no one asked to help her load the soil everyone were on their phones. She left went to Lowes didn't have to ask anyone for help they asked. By the way she spent 240.00. Home Depot is getting horrible this isn't the first time.

Found my way around the store ok. A lot of employees, but not getting asked for assistance very often, if at all. Lowes employees seem to offer help more often.

18yrs a loyal client, but you will NEVER see me again. Take my premium, but refuse to assist when your warranty company refuses to fulfill their promises. REFUSE TO LET ME SPEAK TO A STORE MANAGER.. when I'm 3mo deep in a broken refrigerator??? Thank you for helping me realize the COST of not doing business with local shop owners.

They were helpful. We bought an item that was damaged and believe you me they did give us craziness. The customer service was great. It was resolved in no time and we were satisfied.
