We recently switched to COX. With in 2 weeks of switching the majority of people in my area did not have wifi at all. You saw COX trucks all over, on it fixing the issue. However now it's running slow, and likes to randomly just blimp out.

Some of the worst internet I have had. Hands down. I pay over $200 a month for Cox. Customer service is terrible. Our internet goes down EVERY DAY. Speed test show below 5 MBPS per upload speed and below 5 for download speed. ( It's been worst too). I pay for gigablast and I pay for unlimited. So I basically am paying for nothing. I have had technicians come and said multiple times that it was a wire issue and it's fixed. Still does the same thing. Also was stated I am not eligible to my internet router when I was initially told I could. Terrible service for the amount i pay for RESIDENTIAL AND your price.

Zero customer service. The employee was actually rude and cut me off when I was trying to ask questions. He gave inadequate answers and I left mad. Cox sux!

They way over priced the modem they sold me and the technician they sent still hasn't fixed the up steam issue. Gigabyte service is only half a gig down and the up is only 35mb... Switching to fiber.

I hate having to do bad reviews, especially when it usually has to do with businesses not having enough workers (we are all suffering without sufficient employment staffing) so I want to emphatically say this is in no way any ONE persons fault. That being said....Cox has developers who make these boxes to where if the remote is lost or broken will not work. We have a son who has autism. When stemming he throws things. More than 50 times it's been a remote. We have never complained about replacing things he's broken. But when we are paying for a service monthly (not paying for a remote monthly) we should have some way of controlling it in the interim. I can fully understand that Cox uses the remotes to increase their wealth, but a simple up and down arrow remote that's not at all convenient for regular use would be a ray of sunshine for those of us who are doing our best to make sure the remotes are out of reach. I'm not saying create an app so that you, Cox, lose the monetary value (certainly you've collected a tidy sum from our replacements alone). But something to afford us the opportunity to turn off his kids programming long enough for us too to unwind and possibly enjoy a hint of normalcy after little one finally goes to bed. Please consider the a-typical family when creating your products. I promise your bank account will be fine if not GROW. Because I promise you this...if I find a company that can better accommodate my needs, there will be no stopping the switch. (But of course I'm not foolish enough to assume the rest are anymore hospitable...but you're the one I'm stuck with)

Their prices have gotten so high. I was paying about $210 a month. I got so tired of trying to deal with them every year to renew my contract and trying to drop my home phone that I didn’t want, but they kept saying my monthly price would go up if I deleted my phone. That’s ridiculous. So I just deleted Cox altogether after probably 30 years and went with AT&T Internet and now streaming everything I want to watch via YouTube TV. Cox you better get on your game before your a dinosaur

Internet has been going out on and off all day today. Check the app and says outage in my area. Repair time not til 4am?! It's only 8pm right now. I have never had a provider with outages like this unless it's the power going out completely.
