This place gets all the 5 stars . Came here as last minute choice as everything else was packed on a Friday night(passing through Covington coming from Tampa). The food is very very tasty and authentic . I'm picky with veggies being over cooked but these were at dente . Rice is always a tricky one BUT this rice was fluffy, tasty (not salty or greasy) and perfect amount. The restaurant is clean and staff are very welcoming. I had single tacos ($2.50 ea)- Birria and Pastor and my husband had the chicken plate ($11) WOW ‼. This place is not on Yelp nor on maps but we took a chance AND I'm sooo glad we did. Buen provecho

Wowow this place was so good. It was a last minute decision to come here. The place was clean and server was nice. I am absolutely obsessed with this place. The Birria tacos were absolutely amazing. If I could eat these everyday I would. The price was extremely cheap IMO for what we got. The chips and salsa was good. It was very authentic.

Service is great, the restaurant is clean and the prices are good. The food is excellent! Perfect "street tacos", excellent shrimp enchiladas, and amazing chimichanga with Carnitas. I will be coming back!

Very locals place food. Everything this former Texan would expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant. The street burrito and Pechuga 190 were both excellent and the service was impeccable.

We were relieved and delighted to find an authentic restaurant that tasted like the street tacos I had in DF as well as in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, known for its large Mexican population. This made us feel a little better about moving away from our friends and family in NY and starting a new life here in Covington, LA. We ordered tacos (chorizo, al pastor, lengua, camaron and asada) which were all tasty, full of flavor and perfectly spiced. We also ordered the fajitas poblanos that came with a side of tortillas, rice and beans. The mixed protein platter had a perfect char and was too big for us to finish i one sitting. The meal starts with chips and freshly made salsa. Their drinks are huge and they had a variety of agua frescas including tamarindo, pina and jamaica. The tamarindo was great. Their sauces compliment the meal so well and have the perfect spice. The place is family run and you should definitely go support if you live in town or are stopping by.

Hands down one of the best Mexican food I ever had. When the food got to the table, I started digging in right away, even forgot to take a picture of it. Free appetizer of warm chips and salsa - excellent taste! Thanks for the great service and your hospitality, looking forward to be back!

Soooooooo yummy! Also lots of great items for purchase. Beautiful rosaries, that look handmade, authentic Latin foods and breads as well as other tasty foods and souvenirs; gorgeous belts, hats, bottle openers, unique items that you didn't expect to see looking at it from the outside! The churros kind of tasted a little frostbitten but still edible after a few seconds in the microwave. Didn't really care for those but as you can see in the photos, my daughter definitely enjoyed the soft shell tacos she had, we shared the order of nachos and my chicken fajita salad was amazing and big enough for 2 meals. The shredded beef quesadillas also their beans and rice was very tasty and well-seasoned. All in all it was delicious and a great birthday dinner!

The food was ok. The service was slow but the waitress was nice. Sitting at the bar something smelled pretty bad. Also my cup was dirty... I didn't realize it until I drank out of it
