This is a very good place to stop when traveling. It's much better than the big chain truckstops. I like to support small businesses whenever possible.

Clerks on the shift around 4-5pm act impatient or irritated to print out a lottery ticket. I noticed this as several different people in line in front of me tried to get a ticket. Instead of just trying to scan the ticket or to figure out why it wouldn't scan-they make you stand there & call out each number while they angrily type touch the buttons. I know I was told to stand aside for almost 20 minutes so they could check out everyone else in the store before me, that made me late for my doctor appointment. Lottery is clearly a service and it is a purchase. If your store is going to offer it and make money from this service-then it should be treated no different than someone who is paying for their gas & other purchases. This seems to happen very often here.

Lots of fuel pumps, easy to return to interstate. Turn in before the red light because it is a painfully long light.

As an independent family run business great location, plenty of food to choose from during business hours, showers and bathrooms are generally clean. Owners have really worked on parking lot appearance with lighting and cleanliness. Downside are locale drivers who park and perform motor and other fluid base repairs without care for the property. Abandoned equipment on the lot, multiple trailers dropped for extensive periods of time. Everyone I’ve met here were well aged, seasoned drivers with stories to tell. Huddle House on property, C-store food, Crawfish across the street, Mexican restaurant across the street, Sonic about a block away, Family Dollar across the street.
