The convenience of this store has been a plus for years. When it became River Road Market, there was excitement and renewed energy about the store in the community. They offered more items, bigger sales and expanded the deli with daily cooked meals and Wednesday steak night. Unfortunately, as time has passed, the quality of the meals has gone way down! Sometimes, the food is cold, old, or just doesn't taste as good as it used to. The store still has great sales from time to time, and that alone is worth visiting.

I love this little market.i always come here to get things i can't get in shreveport. From local beers to the inhouse made sausages.there is always a treasure to accure here. And when i look at the sales paper.for it being so small ,it stays competitive with prices. Its allways a must stop on my list when i visit my relatives in destrahan

Everything you need or thought you may need is here. Pricing is good, and service is solid. Order lunch ahead or you will wait unless you want the ready made food, which is surprisingly good.

I go to this place almost daily to get a fountain drink. They have the best insulated Styrofoam cups that keep my drink cold for hours while I am at work. The breakfast in the morning is always made fresh daily, steak night on Wednesday's is delicious and the pastries/desserts, especially the Rivertilly Cakes and bread puddings, are delectable.

when i went to the store this morning there was this lightskin male who works at the deli as a cook asking my daughter how old was she and when she went to go get something from the deli he was standing by the door by the deli watching her

Nice little neighborhood grocery store and lunch/dinner spot. Good poboys and salads too. They also have grocery store sushi and BBQ. I've also seen boiled crawfish there on Fridays. Nice little place. Check em out.
