Next to impossible to get a person on the phone at this branch, go through three different automated messages then get told everyone is bust please call back, this is routine now.

Let me tell you about my experience with Chase Bank. My mother hired a man to do some repair on her home caused by Hurricane Ida. She wrote him a check for $2,000 for a deposit/supplies and the check cleared immediately. When the work was complete, she wrote him a check for the balance. The check cleared her bank the same night. Chase refused to give the money to the Chase account holder. They required all parties to be present with ID. They were holding my mom's money and had a hold for the same amount on the account holder (just under $10,000 total). Now they have the money from both parties and would not release it. I had to take time off work to take my mother to the bank, as did the other party. Upon arriving at the bank, all parties were inside for over 15 minutes and still the transfer of funds was not finished. I went inside and asked why the delay, if all they needed was to verify IDs. The bank called the police because I refused to leave without my mother and the bank refused to return her check or the cash. The police came. The account holder stated the same problem. No one was arrested, but this is the worst experience I've ever had with a banking institution. They have found a way to steal from the customers and those who pay them. STAY AWAY FROM CHASE BANK

Absolutely the worst location to use. Nobody there knows what they are doing. This location has already cost them 1 of my accounts, and if it wasn't such a pain, they would have cost them my checking account today. Don't use this location. Go to the Laplace location, at least they know what they are doing.

Be careful when you try to use their drive thru ATM machine. Friday I went to withdraw cash and no cash came out of the machine. I went inside to notify them of what happened and to complain. I was told that the money should show up (restored) on my account within 30 minutes it has been 2 days and the money has not been refunded to my account. Now told it takes 10 days to review/investigate. If you, like myself, can't afford to lose $240 or have it delayed when needed I would suggest using a different location.
