EVERY TIME I have EVER had a prescription filler the pharmacist was sure to TELL me the directions and make sure I understood. I thought this was standard ethical practice for these guys. I'll never go in this store again, for anything, ever. My wife was given a prescription for antibiotics (an inhaler and a z-pac). She showed up in the Deridder Walgreens and was handed her package. Got home and found it only had the inhaler in it because the pharmacist apparently 'missed' the z-pac. . Went back and had to wait another 20 minutes. When she got home this time, the directions only said \\\"take as directed\\\". I called and was told to read the directions in the box.

This Walgreen's has wasted MY time, my son's time, our school's time, and the time of EVERY other person in line for a medical necessity! After scheduling an APPOINTMENT days in advance, I waited in the pharmacy drive-thru for an HOUR to get a COVID test done so my son could go back to school. I was informed that, "You don't know what the person in front of you was here for. That's just how it is, sometimes!" I'm sorry. There is nothing hard about a, "Sir, would you please pull around so that we can serve other patrons while you wait?" There is NO reason that ONE person picking up an already-filled prescription should take 30 minutes! In no other area of business is it acceptable to schedule an appointment at the top of the hour just to have it start at the top of the FOLLOWING hour! And GOOD LUCK getting an actual human on the phone to help. Way to take do your part in promoting fast, safe recovery! Too bad wasting customer time doesn't factor into their bottom line!

Have had a couple of probs with this Walgreens. Around Oct/Nov they had issues trying to fill my moms antibiotics. They didn't have it in stock. For about 2 months of trying to get the medication they finally told her they couldn't get it and she would have to go somewhere else. She ended up getting it from another pharmacy a couple of miles down the road. This caused a delay in treatment and she ended up in the hospital. Then 2 months later I go to pick up her med and they won't let me have it saying they need her secondary insurance. The actual physical card. They wouldn't accept a pic. I told then I live 1/2 hour away. The next day I go back with her secondary insurance card and they don't even scan it they just look at it and type in the information, then tell me they already have that one on file and they need her Medicaid card??!! I told this clerk that yesterday they said I needed her secondary now they say I need her other card??! And they still won't give me her med. when I request they just transfer it to Walmart they say I have to go to Walmart and have them call Walgreens and request the prescription! If they need updated info they should call (since I've already been getting meds filled there) and say next time we come in we need to brings ALL her cards to make sure they're updated!!!
