“On the suggestion of a friend and confirmed by another colleague I decided to drive 8 miles out of the way.. 16 miles round trip to try the place out! Louisiana is only place where gas stations have great food and this place didn't disappoint! “There are two Brookshire Brothers in DeRidder. This one is East of town on 190/171, the other is West on 190.Each has a little different selection. You have to know which carries what you want.This one (East) sells liquor inside, dried mushrooms, and has fewer meat and seafood choices, but a great and different vegitable selection.”
