I loved the selection of children’s books here. But they rearranged the store and the children’s books are no longer put up on a shelf. They are thrown into clear bins and you have to dig through the bins to find them. They all get torn up. Heartbreaking. They have the shelf space. I wish they would set them back up.

Went in and looked around they have lots of glassware and whatnots and pictures. I found four shirts on the 99 cent sale color. I also got two necklaces and a bracelet that matched one of the shirt side picked out. Go have a look around.

Each item you donate to The Purple Cow makes a difference. By giving us your gently used items to resell, you make it possible for the Christian Outreach Center of Baton Rouge to help struggling families – who need a hand up, not a handout – to meet the challenges of everyday living.
Our donation drop off location is found on the left side of the store when facing the front of the building.
Our donation center can accept quality, gently used items that are ready to sell. We accept all types of clothes, furniture (living room, dining room, bedroom, etc.), housewares (dinnerware, pictures, china, other decorative items, seasonal items), jewelry, shoes, purses, etc. We don’t accept mattresses, large appliances, or items subject to recall.
