My wife and I bought a washing machine from the denham springs store about 13 days ago. We were told by 2 Different floor associates there that they would move the dryer remove the old washer and install the new washer. The delivery guys delivered and refused the install claiming they couldn't move anything only install. Well thats not the info given to us. I called the denham store and got the biggest run around of finger pointing whos fault it was they wouldn't install. I spoke with a manager that refused to give me his name and his position was sorry our employees lied to you but we are not moving anything and you are on your own for the install?????? What kind of half ass idiot run company is this? Instead of doing the right thing and installing the washer i bought and they promised to install he said well we will talk to our employees about lying to customers??? Not sure if there is anyone within your company with any integrity but they sure don't work at the Denham Springs Store...NEVER TO RETURN AGAIN!! Tracy Baron 225 400 3530

The employees here seem to enjoy an exclusive social experience that completely excludes customers. I have been seriously treated like I am invisible and my voice is apparently a frequency that is beyond the hearing range of the staff here. What the hell happened to the Home Depot customer experience? There are simply some things I can't get elsewhere without mail ordering those items. This store is slap full of "not my department" people, whose only department seems to be texting and personal phone calls. Where is management??? Sad customer service, it's a shame.

By far, the worst location I have shopped to date. I've never seen so many employees doing there best to do nothing. I was forced to go here twice in one week but never again. My first clue of my forthcoming experience is when I asked what isle can I find the vinyl siding and the employee had no knowledge of what it was. The staff is not knowledgeable, quick to say they don't know or just don't want to be bothered and insist for you to go look online.

I wish I could give minus 10 stars but I can't. Took my 86 year old neighbor to buy a stove. A week later it was delivered, when they pulled the old one out to install we discovered it was hard wired in to the wall. We had no idea and were not asked when we bought the stove or we would have checked. They were unable to install until the electrician came and fixed it. I talked to the delivery company and she said call back as soon as it was fixed and they would come install it. I got an electrician and within an hour we were ready to go. Called delivery company back and spoke to a miserable person "Marquis". (Never could get the original lady on the phone) He said he could not do anything until he got another work order from HD and then it would be another week before they would come back. UNacceptable. I now had a 96 year old lady with no way to cook I called the lady at HD we bought stove from and she said it was my fault. I should have known. No, you sell appliances, I don't. She should have asked. Anyway she said she could have it installed on Tuesday. Again unacceptable. I have a 96 year old with no way to cook and they want her to wait 6 days to get stove installed. Long story short the electrician and I (71 year old female) wrangled the stove in and got it hooked up. Now I know those delivery people have cell phones. They were still in the area (they had said they would be in the area today). All anyone had to do was call them and ask them to come back. Shame on me for not getting their cell numbers. I NEVER shop at Home Depot just because of this lack of customer service. But she had a Home Depot card (which has now been cut up). Next week she needs a new fridge, dishwasher, vacuum and we are going to Lowe's. Home Depot would not know customer service if it hit them on the butt. Anybody who would not lift a finger to help an 86 year old lady will never get another penny from anybody if I can help it.

This is such a great store! I went in determined to buy a kitchen aid grill my husband and I fell in love with .. i was going to surprise him but was surprised myself when I tried lifting the box that the grill came in. I asked for help and was immediately helped. Two very nice ladies kicked my pregnant butt out of the way and got the heavy grill on a cart for me. They then took it to checkout for me and even got another gentleman to get it into my car! Amazing customer service, they were so happy to help it was great! Highly recommend this location!

Walked around for 15 min looking for shelving. NO ONE asked me if I needed help. 2 were on Snapchat taking pics with a big hat, 2 were on a break siting on a ladder on their phones talking, 2 were walking together ignoring everyone. And several just walked awAy when approached. Finally a lady asked how my day is. Not can I help you, but how's your day . I told her about the situation and she tells me to download the app. I'm thinking like, wait, so y'all can continue to draw a paycheck for not helping people?? Really? So then she finally tells me where the shelving is. What a monumental waste of my time. This place is completely a hit or miss. Mostly a miss and the people who were helping customers looked exhausted. Too bad they didn't have more people "working" today.

It's the great big toy store for adults. I seem to be here s million times through out the week getting supplies for work. It's s great store that is conveniently located near I-12 in Denham. The have so much to offer from home goods to gardening to construction needs to tools to pool supplies. They seem to have everything and anything the could be used on the home. I'm a huge fan of this place.

First off the customer service at this location is almost nonexistent. We had went shopping for a new washer and dryer for the house and had gotten the best price at Sears. The Home Depot advertises they will beat the nearest competitors price by 10% so we went there price in hand. Home Depot refused to beat it by 10% and wanted to charge extra for all the peripheral hookup accessories that Sears would throw in for free. When I pointed out that I shop at Home Depot for the majority of my home improvement needs and even used them for a large portion of the construction of my home in 1998 I got absolutely no reaction other than that's the best we can do. From now on Home Depot is on my blacklist of stores to shop. There are other alternatives such as Lowes, Tractor Supply and others that I will be happy to transfer my business to. Home Depot should be sued for false advertisement on their price guarantee.
