If you have any kind of tint on your windows legal or not best avoid this place I went for my 3rd inspection and passed every time before now all of a sudden my legal tint is way too dark.. wasn't aware Tint gets darker on its own?

Do not go to for inspections. They will fail you for tint Even if your tint is legal. So I Went around onto Lockhart and paid another $18 and got my inspection sticker and they said my tint was legal. I guess iron heart is using a cheap meter that does not work.

I recently bought a truck and the tint was a couple percent darker than the legal limit. That was not known to me. The female technician went through the whole check asked for my money then said you failed and told me I needed to change it into order to get the nice orange sticker off my window and remove the “flag”. She could’ve showed me it wouldn’t have passed and not taken it that far knowing it would fail. They just want your money.

Took our money for an inspection tag then tells us that tint is too dark to pass and gave a 30 day temp tag and said we could change tint and come back within 30 days and not get charged again. I'm not advocating that they break the rules but they could have told us it wouldn't pass and give us the opportunity to go somewhere else and not charge us.
