I don't even know where to start, this was the best. Breath taking art Mr Doug has made using wood from under the Louisiana swamps. We purchased several antiques also but with his prices we are hauling as many prices of his wood art as we could fit back to Kentucky with us. Mr Doug & his daughter Danielle are the most amazing people!!! They made us feel like family. This will definitely be a stop for us every time we are close to this area. I will update this with pictures when we get them displayed in our house.

We found this place online and sooo happy we went! There's something for everyone here! Absolutely unique, one of a kind cypress pieces. Mr. Ennis is truly talented, knowledgeable and remarkably passionate about his craft. We bought a couple of beautiful pieces and will be back for more!

I am so grateful to have met Doug and purchased quite a bit of his artwork to take with me on my move to Oregon! He is an absolute wood art genious, a great guy and puts his heart into his work! I love all of my pieces of Louisiana here with me in Oregon and I'm always tempted to buy more! You have to check out and purchase his art...you will be so glad you did! My daughter and I visited downtown Denham Springs this past weekend. One of the highlights of the day was Bayou Best Restoration and Antiques. Mr Ennis is a craftsman and has beautiful cypress art pieces. He was friendly and knowledgeable about his products and the many beautiful antiques in his store. I highly recommend you take time to visit this Master Crafter and his place of business.

If you love cypress, this is a place to check out and learn a little history about each piece of wood and where it was harvested. They have many designs to choose from and are happy to create your own design. Affordable pricing, friendly staff (Douglas), and made right here in Louisiana.

We are visiting from out of town, and I am so glad we stopped. The experience was amazing. The owner is very welcoming. He showed us a few of his creations and they were beautiful. He is very passionate about his work with sinker cypress. We will definitely come back again!
