Places closes at 10pm. Arrived at 955pm. Not even going inside. I just need gas and they are the closest station still open. As the machine is authorizing my debit card the employees turn the lights AND the pump off. It's still not 10pm at this point. I had more than enough time to pump and leave and they would still have been able to shut down on time. Closing time is closing time. 10 is 10! Not 955. Not 958 Not even 959 and 30 seconds.. 10pm is 10pm!!! Now I have to hope I can make it to another open station before I run out of gas. Do better market max!!

They need to pick better employees... I purchased powerball tickets and specifically told the employee what i needed when i looked at them she had given me duplicate i informed her and asked her to correct it, she told me she could not refund the ticket even though it was her mistake and told me i could just purchase another. She was very rude which in turn, i became rude, i asked for her manager but of course was told she was on vacation (a lie im assuming). So im stuck with a dup. I hope that the employee receives her karma quickly .01/01/2024 3pm

Nice store. Problematic that employees take up all the parking spaces in fro t of the store. Purple Dodge. Man bun owns it and he needs to park on the side of the building.

Only reason why I gave this store 1 star is that was the only way to leave a complaint. Very rude employee, cashier didn't want to even print 1 Powerball ticket, kept printing tickets for another customer. Said she was shutting down the lottery machine cause she was ready to leave for the day. It was only 1pm. Then when you do call the store they do not want to answer

The Covington location has made a good decision in replacing most of the staff recently. The new staff are very professional and polite. As a loyal customer I have noticed this improvement hats off to the management.

I’ve noticed in increasing trend whereby gas stations are either not repairing their air pumps when they break or are just turning them off, or something to that effect because it seems none of them have an air pump that actually works. Including this Market Max. Whoever has a working air pump gets my business for fuel and everything else I buy from convenience stores.I surmise not wanting to trade quarters for dollar bills is one reason.I reserve the right to revise this review upon the tire pump being repaired.

Beware! Allison? (Not sure if that's her gov name) closes the store at 10:00 pm when the hours stated (everywhere) say 11! I drove way over here all to get turned down with her HORRID attitude. Quite literally the most unprofessional experience Ii've had at any establishment in the area. This wasn't a one time thing either, I've given them 3 chances. Each time there she was on her phone turning away multiple customers. This was also at 10-10:15, I would never go right at close. Each encounter with her has been negative. Save yourself the trouble and drive anywhere else to avoid the b******** Where's the accountability? Smh

Store is clean and some degree of politeness there, but I can't stand employees wearing there clothes like they are on the streets with pants below their bum, clothes made for night wear, and foul language being used in their personal talks to other employees. It is a place of business and respect to all is a must. Management/Owner needs to take control of the store

What time do you close? Every single time I come here in the evening staff is in there w the doors locked not allowing customers in. They "close" at 11:00 pm on every website but in actuality if you show up at 10:15 you're not getting served, they don't want your money, and your met with the most blatantly rude staff in the area. We all want to get off of work. No one is coming in 5-10 minutes before close... (Which is rude) Yet they still won't serve you 45 minutes to close. Additionally it's super crazy how outwardly rude staff can be literally to your face. Can't say i've experienced that level of atrocious behavior in a while.... Needless to say I will gladly drive 8 miles away if needed only to avoid spending a penny in a place that has such poor operating standards and "customer service" skills. Update your hours, give your people a raise, or hire and train a staff that doesn't hate their job so much!

Went in the store yesterday. I was told to prove my medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask. I told her I didn't have a doctors note on me and thT I didn't need to legally prove it to her anyway. She rolled her eyes and kept playing on her phone while the nice cashier rang me up. Side note, up until a few days ago, none of them wore masks while working. The rude cashier always has a Hoodia on qhile working which is very unprofessional..
