Fantastically made innovative sofas and chairs. Unfortunately at very high prices. Amazingly I found online retailers that sell below the Lazy Boy Furniture Gallery price

Bought a 2300$ recliner. Was told the operating power of the premium power recliner I bought, which was their pinnacle top level model of that series, would operate at an amazing level. When I called back stating it didn’t work as promised the manager there Joe said he would take care of it and send me out some accessories that would fix this issue, at least in a work around kind of way; which was still absurdly unacceptable since I bought the best of their best at. 2300$ SINGLE chair purchase. Joe’s promise was around 3 years ago. And he never sent out what he said he would. Never checked back in. Never did a thing further to assist with this glaring issue.Even STILL, after this empty and flimsy promise was made by Joe he failed to deliver on his word. I never got the “work around” option and I was stuck with a Broken 2300$ paper weight. Ok maybe a really huge stack of paper that needed a leather bound, steel-armed, remote controlled, paper weight??I guess it’s a myth. The myth that we say in our minds “if I spend the max money I can on their best possible chair they’re gonna take care of me.” WELL? So much for company’s taking care of their hood customers. And the legendary durability and dependability of a lazyboy recliner at the top, premium level option? Throw that out the window also.I have a broken and technologically useless 2300$ chair that can’t operate properly bought, directly May I add through a manager, Joe, whose word is equally worthless. Why make empty promises? Why not just, and maybe I’m crazy to think it, take care of the customer who dropped 2300$ on a chair???????Nah —that’s asking too much. But hey, when it came time for 2300$ of my hard-earned cash dollars to hit their registers they were ready and waiting for that. Am I rich and can I afford this and just move on and get another recliner? Nope. But here I am stuck with what I got. Thanks, Joe. And thanks lazyboy.Lazyboy has plenty of resources and the wherewithal to take care of me and my situation. They just won’t.Shame on y’all.

Large selection available for viewing. Sales staff very helpful. Pricing very reasonable. Lots of options available. Only possible problem it that their production schedule on some products is 4-5 months wait times.

I can't believe something finally moved me enough to write an online review, but here we are. We purchased two La-Z-Boy sofas over ten years ago. We loved them. They never gave us any issues and looked almost like new, but we wanted to freshen up our home. We gave the old sofas to some friends and of course purchased two new sofas from La-Z-Boy. What a mistake. Although they are beautiful, we have had to have them repaired twice (so far). This time, being 15 months after purchase, we will have to pay a repairman $170 just to show up to fix a broken part. They will be here "maybe" in a month or so. Until then, the recliner portion of the sofa is unusable. As it is just my husband and I, we are not hard on furniture. The issue is just shoddy workmanship. So frustrating after spending thousands of dollars. We thought we were La-Z-Boy customers for life, but once we can get rid of these sofas, they will not get any of our business in the future.

Quality is horrible! My replacement chair won't recline properly. One side is locked up and won't slide forward when reclining. This causes the whole frame to twist. This chair replaces one that popped and cracked whenever rocking or reclining. My wife's replacement is now making the same loud popping and cracking - same as her original. So if you don't mind paying top dollar for a recliner that pops, cracks, or twists, then lazyboy is your manufacturer!Update: Travis (their repairman) is great! He managed to fix my chair quickly - parts were missing from the factory. So there is still the fact that no Quality inspections are performed after assembly, but at least it's fixed now. He diagnosed our other chair's issue and ordered the parts. After discussing the issue with him, we have confidence that he will get it done right.

After purchasing five chairs from La-Z-Boy, over the years, there’s no other place I would do business with other than the Covington Louisiana store, they are very patient, accommodating and knowledgeable about the lazy boys furniture. Thanks for everybody being there and being as great as they are . Can’t say enough good about Mr Joe and Mr Travis.(I am sending this through my sister as I don’t have a email address through internet)Thanks again JUDY S.

Sofa bed ordered on May 8, 2021. Delivered almost a year later, on April 23, 2022. While the delivery was scheduled for noon-4:00, I received a call at 11:02am that they were on their way. I was fueling my vehicle, fortunately not far away. When they arrived, I went outside to greet them. The elder fellow, did not reply to my hello. When I asked if he was told that the sofa bed was going upstairs, he grumbled that he could tell by looking at my house. Hmm!! Even though my house is only three years old, with standard doors, he told me that it would not fit in through the front door. He said "you people" need to stop buying big sofa beds and the sales people need to stop selling them. Hmm!! I gave him permission to take the doors off. To which he replied that he was not allowed to do that because he could damage the doors. Well, by not taking them off, he damaged two doors and casings. I told him my husband would be home shortly (remember they arrived before the scheduled time) and take the doors off. He said not to call that he can get the sofa bed in. I told him to wait and called my husband. He did not wait. He and his partner brought the sofa bed in. When angry man went outside, I went upstairs to talk to his partner. I told him his partner should not talk to customers like he did. The guy said that he has talked to him, but he is too old to change. As a senior myself, I told him that everyone is capable of change, regardless of age. I felt very uncomfortable so I went to the back of the house, unlocked the door and waited for my husband. By the time my husband got home, they were getting in truck to leave, without asking me to sign for receipt of the sofa bed. Hmm!! My husband called him back to come see the damage they did to the front door. He denied the damage and said it was like that before. I had taken photos before they brought the sofa bed in, so he admitted to the damage. After they left, we went upstairs to find out the extensive damage to the spare bedroom door and casing. I sent photos to my saleswoman. Graciously, she apologized and told me to email her the photos so she could forward them to initiate a damage claim. The next business day, I received a call from the office manager. She was able to send repairmen the next day. The repairmen were very nice, but they did not have tools. So, they were going to go to Home Depot. My husband let them use paint brushes/scrapers to get the job finished quicker. We had paint. Since the office manager told me a signature was required for the driver to close out his ticket and go on to the next job, I wanted to see a copy of the delivery ticket. In my extensive email to R. Marquez (I think he may own the store. But, I am not sure. The office manager had given me his email address.), I asked him to send me a copy of the "original" delivery ticket so I could see if the delivery guy signed my name or if he wrote "refused to sign". Knowing he did not ask me to sign, neither options would be truthful. In my conversation with Mr. Marquez, he said that he talked to the angry man and told him if he did it again they would suspend him. But, he did not tell me how the ticket was closed. He tried to tell me that doors were too small. To which I explained this was not the case. He admitted that angry man should have taken the doors off and used padding to protect the doors and casings. I was emailed me a delivery receipt. But, it was blank. Nothing to indicate how the ticket was closed. I have sent two more requests and received "no" reply. By not replying, or sending me a copy of the "official" document, I am left to believe they have something to hide. Since it has been 30 days since my last request, I felt it was important to post this review. I think the same person owns the Covington and Metairie stores. As much as I like La-Z-Boy products, and the sales reps at the Covington store, I can no longer give them my business. New recliner and bedroom furniture will be purchased from another company.
