This is the 3nd time I've had to rent a vehicle. All three were from different companies. I brought them all back the way they came. Nice and clean. I do not expect anyone to clean up behind me. Great value and great service!! I will stick with Hertz if I ever need to rent again ?

Booked a van for a week long vacation with 3 kids and 3 adults. Returned the vehicle in typical condition after going on a road trip. There were crumbs on the floor and all of the kids had blankets so there was some fuzz from the blankets stuck to the carpet. They threatened to charge us $500 for a cleaning fee due to having animal hair in the vehicle. At no point during our trip did we have an animal in the vehicle. The only hair on the floor was human hair. After arguing for several minutes I decided to give in and go to a near by car wash. I asked the tenant if they get a lot of people from hertz with the same complaint and he shook his head and said yep. When I brought the van back I said you’re welcome for your free car wash. Animal hair does not come up with a regular vacuum and if there was in fact animal hair it would have taken me much longer to remove all of it. I would have given zero stars if that were an option.

Best service ever. Not much of a selection Thanksgiving so I had a car that wasn't all the way filled with the gas so I returned it with more in it than there was. I was charged. I was told to bring it back like I got it. It even states how much gas was in it on the receipt day one

Rented a car on a Wednesday for a Saturday I received a call the morning of the rental ., was told they didn't have a car for me but as soon as one was turned in they would call me and I was the first on the list never received a call and still got charged

I’ve used this location for 6 years now. For 2 weeks now, they’ve failed to give me any notice they didn’t have a vehicle. If you’re short on cars, that’s fine…but don’t let me drive from Ponchatoula to pick up a car that isn’t there and waste my time. But a huge thank you to enterprise for once again picking up the pieces where hertz dropped the ball on a gold member.

I mean literally the worst. Don’t expect to have a vehicle waiting if you order days ahead of time from this location. Twice now they have dropped the ball with no rental available when I show up. Ordered a week in advance only to be told no truck available. Twice! The day of!!

i made reservation 3 days in advance for one trip that I have planned. received confirmation and all. when I called pick up location before going there, idiot working at Covington, LA, was able to locate my reservation but told me that they don't have car available. I was like excuse me? i have made reservatio in advance and you saying you don't have car for me. He then tells me that reservation doesn't guarentee a car. So what the hell reservations are for? i told him I have trip planned early morning tomorrow and what am I supposed to do? He had audacity to tell me that that's why you should have plan B! My wife had reservatio 2 months before this inci when they gave smoking car instead of nonsmoking as it was requested. This is the LAST time I would ever even bother to use this stupid location and company!!

I reserved a car for 6/1 at 4pm to go out of town. I arrived at 4pm and was told not only did they not have the class of car I reserved, they didn’t have ANY cars. I asked them what the point of a reservation was if they didn’t reserve one for me? They said basically, “sorry. We can’t help. We can call another location (more than 45 mins away) but they will be closed by the time you get there.”I asked for the manager’s name and they said they didn’t have a manager at this time (obviously). I then asked for the district manager’s name and they refused to give me the info. They said the only way I could file a complaint is to call the 1800 number. When I asked for the number, the associate threw a brochure at me.After calling, I learned that they do not accept complaints via phone, but only by their website.Luckily I was able to go across town and rent from Enterprise and they will have all of my business from here on.

Booked a full-sized SUV online around 10am to pick up at 4pm. It said they had one available and let me book it. When I got to the parking lot, sure enough, there was a black Suburban sitting there ready to be rented out.As I was going through the renting process, the girl informed me that they don't do same day rentals, so now I can't rent a car. I asked why they allow it on the website. She said Hertz hasn't corrected it. I asked why they didn't call and let me know before getting dropped off by the shop. Her answer was that it had been a busy day. It definitely wasn't busy when I got there, because the place was empty and she was playing on her phone.That policy isn't a Hertz policy and she didn't mistakenly not rent me a car. The policy was put in place by bad management. The car was available to book online, it was available in person.....their policy is just that they don't rent same day and won't call and let you know know.Took an Uber to enterprise and booked a car on the way. Sitting in it now.Edit: They charged me a no-show fee of $260.22. That'll turn into a punch in the nose fee if it is not taken off. These people are shady AF. Don't even think about renting from here. I am reporting them to corporate

Was involved in an auto accident and choose Hertz due to its proximity to my residence. Called this morning to confirm the rental prior to dropping the vehicle off at the body shop and was put on hold three separate times. The first was for 13 minutes and the call dropped, the second was for 16 minutes and I called back, told the first person I was on hold over 20 minutes and was placed on hold again. Held for 8 minutes and then gave up. I’ve contacted the insurance company and I’m switching the rental to Enterprise.

Made reservations online because I need a car to get to work tomorrow. Drove from out of town and was told when I got there, that I have to wait 24 hours after booking to get one. That would have been helpful to know at the time of booking. I would have went else where that had same day availability. It’s already almost 5 and now I’m out of luck for work tomorrow.

They open for 8. i booked the pickup time for 8am. I get here 7 minutes until 8 the gentleman is sitting inside looking at me and will not let me in. Seriously, customer service already sucks and the expectation has now been set. when I explained my frustration, politely, he refused to rent me the car. He is supposedly the manager, after I asked for a manager he said he was one. Lance W. is who assisted me , do not rent from them. I never raised my voice or was rude. I just simplyasked why do you have a pickup time for 8, when you don’t open until 8. He did not like that.
