“This place gets all the 5 stars . Came here as last minute choice as everything else was packed on a Friday night(passing through Covington coming from Tampa). The food is very very tasty and authentic . I'm picky with veggies being over cooked but these were at dente . Rice is always a tricky one BUT this rice was fluffy, tasty (not salty or greasy) and perfect amount. The restaurant is clean and staff are very welcoming. I had single tacos ($2.50 ea)- Birria and Pastor and my husband had the chicken plate ($11) WOW ‼. This place is not on Yelp nor on maps but we took a chance AND I'm sooo glad we did. Buen provecho”

“It is near me but I love the Organic food selection and the deli and the rewards and specials. The manager is friendly and staff pleasant. My credit cards fell out of my purse and a manager found them and I was paged to service desk where they were turned in. My neighborhood store.”

“I purchased 2 prime beef tenderloins from Rouses on 1085 and had them for dinner last night. First, the butcher was awesome, he let me take my time choosing the perfect ones. Secondly, they were delicious, definitely worth the money. These were the best filets that I purchased in a store ever!

“Upside, Great selection with many things on sale or marked down, has a good value isle, and check out employee took the time to set me up with WD card and saved me over 12 bucks on my 62 dollar bill. Downside is it's a lot of walking especially if you don't need a full buggy and not familiar with layout. I always expect butter and cheese to be near dairy. Instead seems like many like items are at opposite ends; f building. Also prices are high I just don't buy what I didn't come for and stick to sale items and value deals only but I do find this to be the case with most large grocery stores in our parish.”

Despite asking a stock lady on the same aisle three time to help me find the item,and her refusing to help me find it, I found a friendly worker named Crystel. She was in another part of the store, but she stopped what she was doing and found my item. Thank you, Crystel!”

“This is a family owned smaller grocery store but it still seems to have just about everything. Just like larger chains, they have their own home made bakery section, a great meat selection, and especially a huge wine selection, even bigger than the big guys. This place has been here for many decades serving the local community. The prices are actually pretty good. I enjoy coming here.”
