Buyer beware, a considerable amount of goods at this store are sold over the price of new. I look up nearly every item before purchase and end up passing up most items. On occasion you can find some good deals, just do your research first. Also make sure they are not damaged, lots of damaged items wind up on the shelves at this store. In regards to whomever is replying to these bad reviews, maybe it’s time you look into how managers, supervisors, and the district manager are running things instead of forwarding feedback. This many people don’t leave bad reviews for no reason.

When I lived in Washington State, going to the Goodwill was awesome because they were clean, low priced and absolutely packed with items. You would always find lots of nice treasures. This Covington Louisiana Goodwill never really has much at all and never has any treasures to be found. Things are sometimes priced the same or higher than buying new in a store. Everything feels & looks dirty, grimy and sticky including inside the store itself. It's definitely a waste of time going to the Covington Louisiana Goodwill.

Just left this location, the elderly gentleman on the register was rude multiple times to my fiance and myself, he also refused to sell us a DVD because it didn't have a price on it, when all DVDs are $1.99 each. Don't shop here.

This is, hands down, the worst Goodwill we have ever shopped at, and we visit a lot of them. The pricing practices and policies seem to fly in the face of all other Goodwill experiences.Friday afternoon at 4:20 and we were the only shoppers, kind of says it all. Rack after rack, priced at say $4.99 - only to find each item marked up to $12.99/14.99.We will never come back. Kind of a black eye to Goodwill Industries.

I’m not usually the type to write reviews like this, but I recently had the worst experience and have other issues as well. First, I have worked retail for a while now and know how difficult rude customers can be. I’ve had tons of rude encounters as a cashier with rude people, but never have I been a customer and gotten rude treatment from a cashier. I was checking out as normal, didn’t complain about the line even though another register was empty and they couldn’t just put another worker there to deal with the line. When I payed, I noticed I wasn’t asked to round up even know I heard the cashier asking all the other customers- which before when I came I politely refused since I was over my monthly spending limit. I usually always round up or at least politely decline, but I guess the cashier assumed I would decline again and hence didn’t ask to avoid any negative reaction from me (even though I worked retail with donations and know how rude people can be with it/demands from managers to get employees to have high donation rates. So I brushed that aside and, exhausted from the day forgot to mention that I didn’t need a bag for my one item. Instead of taking the dress out of the bag, the cashier gave me a disgusting look and told that it was already in a bag and shoved it in my face. In my defense when I had checked out customers in the past at the thrift store I work at I always take there items out of the bag if they ask no matter how much they bought or if they forgot to mention it at the beginning of the transaction. There was no reason for the cashier to be tuned when I politely asked and wasn’t a “karen” about it. Y’all need to train your employees to handle little things like that better, otherwise there’s going to be bigger issue when a real karen comes in and has an issue with things like the no refund policy/ selling broken/ poor condition items for more than they’re worth. Seriously because I’ve seen many empty cd cases with the discs missing, worn out clothes, and even a pair of shoes with the heels and straps broken sell for special price with no discount for damage. At my thrift store we don’t even sell items with so much as one stain, otherwise they get discounted or recycled. Honestly you’re better off supporting more local thrift stores that give back directly to their community or pick any other goodwill location.

Hands down the most ridiculous experience at any goodwill I have ever been to. The manager is a bit rude, not to mention the prices are so high you might as well go to the mall. All of these items are second hand/ donated items. Explain to me how ANY shirt in there should be priced at $45????? You are taking donated items, and already getting 100% PROFIT. This store honestly should be reported to corporate.

Selling donated items for more than retail? No thanks. Everything is marked way up. Cheaper to shop any retail store. You can get brand new clothes at Walmart cheaper than Goodwill.
