I used to board my boxers with their vet, but after a horrible experience where they came back emaciated and covered in their own filth, I took them to Covington Acres. They were always so happy when I picked them up, you know that they're enjoying themselves and getting the attention they need. I'd never bring my pups anywhere else, been using them for over 10 years. I still bring my old boxer here, he's close enough to the other dogs in their runs to have fun, but he isn't thrown into a group daycare situation which is how he prefers it.We need more boarding options like this where the pups aren't obligated to mix with everyone. Some animals prefer their own personal space!

I like this place because the dogs have BIG outside runs and they can go inside to heated and air conditioned air. My 3 year old dog and older puppy just got back from a stay during the deep freeze. The owner made sure the dogs buildings were kept warm and my dogs came back in the same health the were left in. This is more than I can say for both of my cats that stayed at our vet and came back with colds. If they took cats, my cats would stay at Bed & Biscuit too!

My dog loves going to Covington Acres! its convenient, and I feel much better about leaving him knowing he is not locked up in a small kennel all day like they do when boarding at the Vet.

There is a NEW OWNER & he’s AMAZING!! Go meet him in person & see the place for yourself if you have any doubts! All of the BAD/NEGATIVE reviews on here are inaccurate & from when the old owner was there. They are all from one bad experience one person had & all of her friends left bad reviews it appears, but this is NOT reflective of the new owner & how he does business at all! He’s SUPER nice, professional, humble, lives on the property 24/7 & CHOSE to do this for retirement from the medical field. He truly loves dogs & cares for them as if they were his own! I am a pet-sitter myself, so I’m VERY picky, but I have 3 large dogs & 2 are very elderly (one has extreme anxiety) & they were ALL happy & in great shape when I picked them up from here! :) I used this place with a prior owner years ago & didn’t have as great of an experience, but thought I’d try again since it has a new owner, is so affordable, the owner lives on the property & my large 13 & 16 year old dogs need a lot of TLC. It is a country place, down a county road, BUT the indoor kennels with fans, with access to shaded outdoors, fenced in, are NICE & much larger than any vet’s office “kennel”.....it was almost like a little, personal yard for my 3 dogs & they have plenty of space to sleep on their 3 big dog beds inside & plenty of room to roam & sit in the shade in their personal, fenced in yard outside. This place is extremely affordable & trustworthy! ❤️?

These people do not care about your animals. Only about the money they are receiving. If you love your fur babies at all please DO NOT send them here. They will leave them outside in the heat and then just let them die, with no notification. So sad!!!!

Always trust leave my fur baby in their hands. Love recieving multiple text/pictures of my dog while away. They run a great buisness. Would not leave my baby anywhere else.

a healthy Dog died within hours of being here !!! Not even two years old , and healthy as can be ! My heart is broken ! How could they be so heartless and know so little about taking care of dogs !
