This is a favorite place for my wife and I. The rooms overlooking the pool were perfect for our birthday weekend getaway. Mrs Linda is such a great host and very attentive to all of your needs. Even though you are close to the downtown area, when you are in the backyard pool area, you feel miles away from everything. Walking distance to some great restaurants and really cool antique shops/boutique stores.

Linda was awesome, and the house was in the center of everything. We enjoyed the close walking distance of the restaurants and grocery store. We enjoyed our stay.

Mrs Linda was so sweet. She took care of us during our stay. It’s a quaint spot that feels secluded yet walking distance from everything. The rate was very reasonable.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Camellia House!! Such a beautiful, charming jewel!! The Southern Hospitality was off the charts. Linda, the owner, took care of us like family. The breakfasts were delicious. Added bonus was the gorgeous pool!! Hoping to come back someday!!

The hostess is wonderful but the place is run down. It could be beautiful again with some work. I love B and B's but will stay in a hotel for my future visits. Rotting floorboards covered with tape and painted over. Carpets not clean. It is so sad because the couple that owns this place have been in business for so long and I am sure the place used to be so wonderful.

Our host Linda made our stay at Camellia House feel like a visit in a dear friend’s home. She personally greeted us and took great care of every single detail. We had a charming room in the back of the house with our personal area of the porch that overlooks the pool and garden. We spent a lot of time in the cozy furniture on the porch listening to the pool fountains and enjoying the beautiful plants and wooded property. The king bed and linens were so comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Our room and property was clean and everything labeled well for our convenience. Linda took time to visit with us and make us feel welcome. No detail was left out. We highly recommend this darling bed and breakfast within walking distance of historic Covington. We will return.

What a cozy and relaxing place to stay! The owner Linda provided all we needed and was delightful to visit with. It was quiet and within walking distance of the downtown area. We enjoyed having breakfast on the porch one day and by the swimming pool another. We would stay here again.

This place is heaven on Earth! The greatest bed and breakfast in the entire United States, I am not kidding. Staying here made us make the final decision to move to the New Orleans area. You will love this place and never want to leave.

I would look at other options until repairs are made to this bed and breakfast.
