These guys were awesome! Professional and fast. We had been told it was likely a transmission problem (yikes) and referred to them by another shop. Automotive Specialists believed it was something much less expensive, and they were right!

I've been getting serviced by Mr Robert for over 15 years for every vehicle that my husband and I have had. He is honest, reliable, trustworthy and fast, meaning the estimated time for repair is never more that 1 day off. My dad and uncle, who both repair their own vehicles, my uncle was a certified mechanic, had been going way before me and were the ones that directed my husband and I to Automotive Specialty. Before any vehicle we purchase, we call Mr Robert to see if it's a vehicle he can maintenance that's just how much we trust him and his sons! (I went to school with Corey) Highly qualified and recommended!

Automotive Specialty of Covington is my "go-to" automotive repair shop. Mr. Robert Booth and his sons are top notch mechanics, who provide skilled, reliable service. I can always count on them to provide great service at a reasonable price. Best of all, they are honest! You don't have to worry about them trying to pull the wool over your eyes. You can trust them to tell you the truth. I give them two thumbs up and an AAA+ rating!

They do good work, are down to earth people and are honest with their prices. They are very thorough with the work they do!P.S. The negative review stating these people are lazy, won't answer the phone and messed up their vehicle performing an oil change is a review meant for another automotive shop across the lake. The negative review almost caused me not to use this shop, but I am glad I went ahead and used them based on the recommendation of a person I know and trust. I brought this negative review to the attention of the owner of Automotive Specialty, and he was aware of it but he said he didn't have a record of a customer by that name and he was unsure of how to get the negative review removed. Automotive Specialty has been in business for over 26 years, so they must know what they are doing and speaking from my experience of using them, I am well pleased with the quality of work they performed on my vehicle.
