Had the absolute WORST experience with the Paris Rd store's pickup feature yesterday. At approximately 3pm I placed my order, reserved the 6p-7p pickup time slot, paid for the order and received a confirmation email & text. At 5:30 I received an email that they are still working on it and would let me know when it was ready. At 6:45 I went to the store to pick up the order and was told by the mgr that they have no record of my order. I showed her the info I received (the order#, ref# etc.) and my credit card charge. She proceeded to tell me that they were having trouble with the pickup process and that I could just go purchase the items I had already paid for. I asked about crediting my card but she said she couldn't do that because I ordered online. Finally at 7:05pm I received another email cancelling my order with a note saying my card will be credited within 3-5 business days! I don't know why my order was cancelled. I certainly didn't cancel it. I just wasn't willing to purchase the items in store and pay twice! The website showed all of the items I ordered were in stock. I've never had this experience with Walmart or Winn Dixie! This was the first time I tried DG's pickup feature and for sure it will be my last! The manager was very nonchalant about the situation which was very frustrating having wasted not only my gas but my time. I truly hope they get it together because the terrible customer service will eventually cause them to lose business! But to tell you the truth, I really don't think they care! I hope no one has the same horrible experience I did. If there was a negative star rating, they deserve a -5 stars!!! -⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐-⭐

This dollar general is always out of everything. Half the time I go there's never what I went there for! Very under stocked. But the employee's are very nice and friendly.

i went there and the clerk was on the phone so I figured he was a manager and busy on a call so I rang the bell door assistance he walked over calling out the other associates name, well he was frustrated and said to me that I could've said something because he just walked away. i believe I did the correct thing by ringing the bell, I don't understand why he was an a****** to me, the customer when it's his job to make sure someone has the front of the store covered. I think he should check his attitude when dealing with customers or get a job where he doesn't have to deal with people
