Been going here since 2018. Bring my multiple dogs here. The front desk over the years has seriously declined in customer service. I called today to see if they could assist with giving me an appointment, I was told they was booked, yes booked when all I asked if they could just take a look at a dog I rescued and see if they could treat him. I was told they are booked all week and I should basically find someone else to deal with it. No recommendations or anything. Thats ok I will take my business elsewhere to a staff that is a little more understanding.

No veterinarian is more thorough, and knowledgeable than Dr. Millet. He's cared for my dogs for over a decade. Never have I had to ask questions. His analytical approach and solutions to issues, is impeccable. I'd say I have total trust in him and his staff. No doubt about anything. This man gets to the problem and solves problems.....

Some people are born with an intuitiveness to help animals, and to learn all that they can to do so. Dr. Jimmy is one of these people. I love him, I love the staff and they’re the number one vet for me.

I took my friend Mike to this vet his cat Blackie was sick Mike was really worried about blackie tha Dr gave him a prescription for pink eye & he's getting better slowly. Tha Dr was really nice & concerned. I would really recommend chalmette pet Wellness veterinarian.

At my previous vet, the veterinarian incorrectly assumed that my dog, Daisy, was unable to walk due to her weight. The next day, I had to rush her to an animal hospital due to the fact that she was whining in pain and unable to walk. When they examined her, they found her leg was horrifically sprained and may have needed surgery. Thankfully, she was able to heal from pain medications, but the entire experience made me instantly switch veterinarians.From day one, Dr. Millet proved himself to be an efficient, kind, intelligent, and understanding vet. Every time I visited, he remembered not only details about my dog, but about myself. My dog went from limping around my house to running, jumping, dancing, and playing like she did when I first adopted her. My own doctor isn't even that thorough with my own exams, but Dr. Millet impressed me with every visit. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep my dog with him due to the fact that I have moved out of state for work, but I highly recommend Dr. Millet to anyone who is looking for a highly skilled, immensely understanding, supremely kind, and efficient veterinarian. Everyone on the staff was also kind, understanding, and remembered details about me and my dog. I always felt welcomed and that my concerns were appropriately addressed with every visit. Everything, from services to medication, was respectfully priced and never did I feel like I was being ripped off with any charges. Everything Dr. Millet recommended worked spectacularly and I'm forever grateful for his work in returning my four year old dog back to her puppy-self in terms of her blooming health and her cheerful playfulness.Thank you, Dr. Millet, for everything you have done for Daisy. I sincerely wish you the best in all of your endeavors. God bless you and everyone who works there.

Dr. Millet is the kindness & most caring veterinarian my 13 yr old dog has seen. I discovered him a few years ago after having a horrible experience with a different vet in Stb parish. My girl had surgery there a few days ago and can’t say enough about how wonderful both Dr. Millet and the staff have been through this scary time. He’s meticulous yet very kind and caring. I appreciate his bedside manner and patience. I’ll definitely be recommending Chalmette Pet Wellness in the future

Dr. Millet Is the kindest vet I have ever been too! My Persian cat Mateo has been going to him for years now. Cats can be very grumpy, but you can tell Dr.Millet cares so much and takes his time with them. He’s very informative and lets you know everything he’s doing. I never feel pressured into anything. Also never over charged or feel taken advantage of like many of the other vets in chalmette do. I refer everyone I know to bring their babies to Dr.Millet!
