The prices may be a tad higher than the main grocery stores but if you ask me it pays for itself with speedier check outs and good local service I've been going there since just after Katrina

Clean the manager and workers are always friendly if you have any concerns talk to the manager. The deli has gone down hill the food looks old and the workers don't seem to care about their jobs, so why work their!!!

B & G market is very conveniently located and they have fresh meats and good small French ? breads. The people there are very friendly and helpful. It's a small grocery with a lot of merchandise.
