This place is near and dear to me, I've been going here since I was a little girl. It's the freshest meat you can buy. This is a way better option than Walmart. You can watch the meat walk up into the slaughter house It's that fresh.

Went in to buy meat obviously, I asked for 5lbs of ox tails, 4lbs beef short ribs,4lbs of ground Chuck and pork ribs slab. Turned around to continue having my conversation as we moved to the side a couple other ppl began to order. The lady gathering our order got my attention once she was complete asked me if I needed anything else. I told her no, she gathered the bag and brought it to the place where she rang us up. Once we got home to save the meat, I realize she had given me 5lbs of tripe so I called to see what could be done, the lady over the phone was RUDE and short telling me the price difference. I didn’t ask for a price difference, I don’t mind paying for what I purchase! She then goes on to tell me that the person showed me my meat as she put in the bag. No ma’am she didn’t bc we stood aside as they waited on other customers. Yes I should have checked behind her apparently after she placed everything I asked for. But I’m certain a little courtesy goes a long way, even if there’s no way you could take it back since it left the store. But I promise you, you lose customers with bad customer service. I’ll gladly shop elsewhere.

We order a half or quarter of a cow at a time over the phone. They wrap it based on how many people we are feeding and label the packages. We can usually pick it up within 24 hours. Great service and prices. They always serve our family well.
