I have never been treated so poorly by an employee. The Lady at self checkout accused me of stealing a 28 cent gift bag that actually rang up for 29 cents. I dont steal she was rude from the moment I walked up. I had some bathing suits that said they where 3.00 each piece. Only one rang up for 3.00 so i asked. She was going off on me how summer wasn't over. So when I was done i picked up the bathing suits and walked back into the store to go to customer service to see if they would honor the price then she starts yelling at me to put the bathing suits down. Like I was trying to steal them. I was highly offended. Like what even. They got people walking out with TV's and all kind of stuff but she is attacking me when I clearly paid for my stuff. I filed a complaint with corporate but i am sure they wont do anything .

This store sells expired food to the public! Seems like management doesn't care if they sell you expired food. Why do they work here if they don't care about their job. A person of excellence would not even dare to feed expired food to a dog much less be okay with selling expired food to the public.

This is our nearest WM, so I'm there several times/week. This store has many problems, even compared to other area WM's. The lynchpin is that management won't listen to customers. Examples: Few or no store brand diet drinks are carried. Sugar-free items are extremely limited. They are often out of their own specialties, more-so than other nearby WM's. It seems to me that there is ZERO customer-to-purchasing agent communication here. Couldn't they even check to see what folks in their immediate area are ordering for home delivery from WM on-line ? Recently, the pre-packed deli potato salads' seals have been opened. I have to return items frequently. Last week, I had to go through six containers of potato salad to find one unopened. When I tell employees of this, they just ignore me. Broken grocery carts are just returned to service w/o repair. We customers keep putting them aside, but the workers just put them back into the que. Their defects are obvious. As I must shop other area WM's in Lafayette, New Iberia, Crowley, & Baton Rouge; I note them to all be in better overall shape than Broussard's. Sad, Rick .

We are frequent shoppers there and I could complain about things we like are not always in stock, but truth be told there is still a supply chain issue in this country. That is not their fault. The reason I decided to go out of my way to write a review today was because of a lovely young lady named Marquita who was working in the Garden Department this afternoon. She went out of her way to help me look for a Christmas cactus that didn't look sick. LOL. I later had to return to her department to look for some light clips and she told me exactly where to find them. A little while later she left her post to come check on me. I couldn't find the one my hubby wanted, so she looked it up and didn't see it. But then, she literally looked up and spotted a few on the very top shelf which was pushed toward the back. We giggled together and she left to go get the ladder. I truly appreciated the fact that she went above and beyond for me. Unfortunately, it's not too often I run into someone who provides excellent customer service these days, but she did, and she deserves to be recognized. People are quick to complain all the time, but when someone does something great, that needs to be known as well. She was very patient, sweet, personable, and helpful. If I were still a hiring manager for a staffing service, I would have definitely given her my business card and tried to convince her to work for my company. Additionally, Tina, my cashier, was also very personable and friendly. It doesn't cost a dime to be friendly. Great job today, ladies! Thank you!

Went to buy my dog some dog treats and was just about to check out when I noticed ants crawling out of the bag and onto my arm. Please be careful when purchasing dog food, and or treats.

It had all the items we were looking for, and I liked the Father's Day card kiosk they set up. As someone from out of state, I enjoyed purchasing Cajun spice mixes that I can't get where I'm from without shopping online. The craft section looked like all the glitter containers vomited their contents. Lots of random items out of place throughout the store. Clearance aisle had no rhyme or reason.

Later in the night they only have one cashier so the lines are backed up 20+ people. I've waited nearly a half hour in the checkout line multiple times. Get more cashiers and train cashiers to be faster.

This is the cleanest walmart ive been to and the people are pretty nice . The other walmarts around are pretty trashy. This one things are usually very clean and stocked nicely. Their are a few employees who seem alittle rude but that's the usual any where u go .

We went to the Wal Mart in Broussard LA. to purchase landscaping products. There were no carts in the garden center so we had to go back out and find one in the parking lot. We find what we need and go to checkout. No one there even though there were 2 employees in the area. We asked about checking out. Oh, that person was on break! Seriously, there is only one person who can handle the register in the garden center. Then I ask for help loading some heavy bags and they just look at you. Let a 70+ man go out in the heat to load his own bags! No customer service there!!

I know, I know. It's a pain in the ass to go to Wal Mart. The clientele isn't always classy and usually are wearing pj bottoms, curlers in their hair and often no shoes. I get it. But I do have to go there on occasion and I've found that this particular location isn't too bad. Sure, you will still get the occasional grumpy employee and kids who are throwing a tantrum, but this location is fairly new and still kept up nicely and is laid out in the new design, finding everything you need easier and almost painless. The reason I decided to review this Wal Mart, though has on a little to do with the cleanliness and newness of the store. I have been a loyal user of Clinique's 3 step system for cleaning, toning and moisturizing your face for years now. It is not cheap. Did you know that Wal Mart's Equate version has a dupe for this system? Yes, they do. At a fraction of the price. And the ingredients are almost the exact same, with the results being the same....beautiful skin. I first found out about this looking to buy my skincare system online for a bit less than $60. Yes, that's how much I was dropping on my facial routine every few months. I read Wal Mart had a dupe and I thought why not? Can't hurt, right? Well I am so happy I did. Let's compare: Clinique's Mild Facial Soap $17 vs. Equate's Mild Liquid Facial Soap $4.84 Clinique's Clarifying Toner $24 vs. Equate's Clarifying Toner $6.84S Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion $26 vs. Equate's Strikingly Unique Moisturizing Lotiion $6.84 !!!!! I will never waste money on Clinique's system again when I can now get the SAME EXACT PRODUCT for so much less! And kudos to Equate for seeing an opportunity to save us money and seizing it! Also, a big high five for the clever spin on naming the moisturizer. Don't forget if you really can't bring yourself to go there you can shop online and have it shipped or order online and pick it up in the store. You don't even have to get out of your car at most locations who offer this service. Win, win.

This is the closest one so I go to it. The baby section is terrible. They are unorganized and have nothing but girl stuff. They have all sizes mixed together.

Worst automotive department I have ever encountered. Weird thing is it closes at odd times such as 2:37pm or 4:00pm and customer service counter and store management think they are open. To me it seems as if someone is avoiding work and being dishonest. It seems everytime I go there I am told oh it will be a really long wait or we are closed. If I do say oh I will wait the task is completed in a timely manner strange.

this is prob the worst walmart ive ever been too...the workers. are very slow and just act like they have better things to do. i spent 50min being 3rd in a fast checkout line of 20 items. thats ridic. learn your job. stop asking the other cashiers what code is what, turn your little turnstyle and look for it. -___-
