“One of my other goto lunch spots in the Broussard area is Billeaud's No. 3. This is a classic plate lunch place with a menu that rotates each day. The thing I like the most about them is that their quality is consistent. These are the meals from my last few times there.”

“Best boudin and gumbo in town! We use this place weekly, especially even we need a quick and ready-prepped meal. Some of the kindest and friendliest employees that you’ll ever meet too!”

“Love this place, reminds me of my uncles butcher shop that I worked at as a teenager. Densely packed with a lot of options that you won't find other places. Don't leave without getting some chicken cracklings!”

“I love Don's. I travel through Louisiana quite a bit, and I always stop through Scott. I love their seafood balls, boudin balls, pork chops, chicken etc. They also have a great selection of freezer items and souvenirs which I like to take back home. Their service is always amazing too.”

“The crawfish and corn bisque was delicious. The fried shrimp poorboy was good but the bisque was a winner. Joey's also has great prepared foods for reheating at home like crawfish pie, shrimp and okra gumbo and a variety of soups. Fresh seafood and meat market with plenty of seasoned and stuffed options. Looking for great cheese and house made salad dressings Joey's has that covered. Oh, don't forget to grab that bottle of wine or spirits to complete your meal. This place has all you need to host the perfect dinner party.”

“I've not only had the opportunity of tasting this great representation of Original Style Cajun Boudin, I've also had the opportunity to be a part of a long tradition of Mac's Boudin. Yep, I'm one of Mac's grandson's and have been a part of this business for over 40 years. Mike has been a pivotal part of the last Mac's to be standing; we used to work side by side before I went off to college and moved to CA. Mike has done a great job reflecting the "original" recipe of a LA staple that continues to run strong which is even the base line for more popular brands like Comeaux's; our cousins who were provided the opportunity/skills from ole' Gervis (Mac) himself. Stop by and say hello and get a taste of one of Louisiana's truly "original" foods!”

“Convenient grocery store when I need to grab a few items. Store is always clean and well stocked. I like the little deli section right up front because they have a few prepared items if you need to pick up ready to eat food for lunch. The prices seem a little high, but I assume since its smaller than the bigger grocery stores but other than that, great place to pop in.”

“Don’t let the size of this little neighborhood grocery store for you… They have everything you need, and more! Gluten free… No problem, they have surprise me with a fair amount of options here. The premade chicken salad is my absolute favorite!… And the jalapeño chicken burgers in the deli section are amazing! They have wonderful meat specials every day. The chicken and steak kebabs, and the stuffed pork chops are my favorite.”

“I have always enjoyed Logan’s Turkey! We have traditionally contributed a ham and turkey to go with the plethora of amazing dishes my beautiful mum would cook & my dad would cut the big Turkey! The Logan’s turkey and ham are always perfect for after Thanksgiving or Christmas,to whether it’s for sandwiches or salads. We fortunately would always have an extra gift certificate, for another yummy ?turkey! from given as gifts to clients)Yum, although I try not to eat any turkey until closer to bedtime,as I’m not going to sit on the couch and fell asleep!lol! After reading several of the reviews pertaining to gift cards & there expiration, etc.A message is clearly in view on a freezer door, explaining that the gift cards expire after five years! ?”

“Used to be a lot better back in day but I'm just surprised they have kept it up and running for as long as I can remember so I give them mad props and respect for keeping it going through all the struggles with the economy that hated on family owned businesses and got alot shut down and dreams smashed. So give a round of applause for locally owned business like corner pantry and it still smells the same as it did 20 years ago lol”

“Best sandwich in Lafayette- the Tavern Club (omit the turkey & ask for extra ham; sub the sweet hickory mustard for the tart honey mustard they usually put on the sandwich. Absolutely terrific. Also, a great place to pick up a hambone to make soup!”
