I had an extremely positive experience with the place, despite the visit being saddening. My cat had passed at around 4AM, and I wanted to get her over as soon as possible. We called and left a message and they got back to me as soon as they could. The woman who helped me was kind and patient. I have anxiety and I was suffering the loss of a pet so I was very specific about the things I wanted, one being a lot of my cats pawprints. They delivered and I was so happy to have those. One thing amazing about this place is the amount of memorabilia they offer for your pet. If you get pawprints/noseprints, they give you an ID number and keep the prints on file in case you ever need a digital copy and/or want to purchase from their memorabilia shop. I'd highly recommend as their shop comes from local people who make it themselves, so while you get a precious irreplaceable item for a small cost, you are also supporting a local shop. I think that's lovely. They got my fur baby back to me much sooner than I expected. My only regrets are not buying the clay pawprint ornament and not taking a moment to say goodbye. PLEASE, buy that ornament for yourself. I didn't at first because of cost, but I was going to call to ask and purchase it but they had unfortunately already finished the cremation. Don't worry about the cost. 25$ can be earned back for that precious, irreplaceable memory of your pet.Overall, I highly recommend this place. They are extremely professional and kind to you even in times of mourning where you may be stressed.Thank you for taking such good care of Blu.

I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about the staff here. They were respectful, sympathetic, and treated my cherished puppy of 15 years, Daisy, with dignity. Her ashes were given back to me in a beautiful memorial box as well as an adorable digital paw and nose print. They made an extremely difficult time a little more bearable. Thank you for everything.

I wish I could give them negative stars. $400 for such neglectful and careless work on my beloved boy that I will never be able to get back. My service dog of 10 1/2 years passed away last week on the operating table and the vet contracted with Louisiana Pet Crematory to get him back to me. According to their website, it takes a week to get remains back. Understandable about the queue, but I was not happy with having to wait a week and a half for his remains. So I go pick up his remains and thank goodness I checked when I got in my truck because his paw print was not included. I went back into the vet and let them know. I was told that they would bring it to the vet the next time they went by. I live over half an hour from the vet. Why should I have to waste my already overpriced gas to pick up an already overpriced paw print because of their negligence. The vet on duty and I discussed it and he said he would call them. They agreed to bring it.While I waited, I looked inside the bag. A crumped and slightly ripped "certificate of cremation" was in the bag. Really? Like woo hoo, your dog is dead, here's a certificate of achievement? The least you could have done for this slap in the face was put it in something that would protect it. The more I think I about everything I am looking at, the more I truly believe that they don't really care, it's just a business for them. With every dog I have had or known to be cremated in the past, it's come with a beautiful folder with pamphlets and letters and uplifting tokens of love and care and compassion. Nope, you get a certificate of achievement that you decided to cremate your beloved. I'm not even going to get into the ink nose and paw print that you get on ... you know that perforated business card paper stock that has where you know the paper was torn at the edges because they're too cheap to order proper business cards? Yeah, I get to remember someone who was in every way closer to me than my own shadow (even your shadow leaves you in times of darkness) through a crumpled up "certificate of achievement," a too cheap to get clean lines business card for an ink and paw print (by the way, where's the scar on his nose from the bear attack when he was 3? Looks like you purposefully left that off the cheap paper also), and a toddler ornament.I have had dogs cremated in the past. I know for a fact that I did not get all his remains and I can't put into words how angry I am. He was right at 100 lbs. My 65 lb wolfdog who passed away in 2020 had more ashes than him and was in a bigger urn (beautiful wooden box) actually made of solid wood on all 6 sides. I was able to put what I wanted on the metal plate on the top of her urn. Please know that when you go with LA Pet Crematory through the vet, YOU DO NOT GET OPTIONS!! I do not like the cheap box he was placed in. They couldn't even clean up the box from the scuffs from wherever they got it NOR could care less if his name was straight ... and it can't be straightened without replacing the entire wooden side. The bottom is NOT wood. I know because the bottom is completely stuck on and when I looked on how to pull ashes out for some jewelry I can wear daily to have him with me, you can see the pressed sawdust with the "Made in INDIA" sticker on the bottom. The top of the box is not only hideous with its poorly cut out mincemeat flowers and hacked up stems, but will be impossible to keep clean. Without changing his urn, he will get dirty and dusty and I will not have a way to clean it because the carvings are so deep. It took over an hour for his paw print to get there, so I missed more time from work. When I got the paw print, it honestly looks like a kindergarten ornament with big toddler block letters. It has a hole punched through the top with cheap ribbon through it. Who said I wanted a toddler Christmas ornament with a hole in the top? I don't have a feather pen on my desk. I didn't want a hole in the top of his paw print that cuts into two of his

Our vet uses LPC and we are very pleased with our experience. We received our cat’s ashes back in a beautiful wooden box engraved with his name. Also included was a digital paw print. As our cat passed away unexpectedly at a very young age, this is not something we thought we would have to deal with at this time in our lives, and we feel that LPC took very good care of our boy. I’m so glad to have these items to remember him by. We will use them again in the future, although hopefully not for a long time.

First of all you do not have a choice in what you receive back of your loving pet. It's bad enough you lost your best friend, they do not give you a selection to choose from. You get whatever they give you and they charge you a great deal of money. I wanted special wording and was even willing to pay extra for the words and what I received was NOT what it was suppose to be. Then to top things off they hammer nails in the brass engraving and it is crooked. The nails and the engraving plaque is crooked. They must wanted me to cry even more than I as already crying. Never, ever, ever again with these people.

I lost my beloved almost 17 year-old lab about a week ago. My veterinary used another company. The only request I had was a paw print similar to the one I had made for my other dog (the company I used then is no longer in business). What I received from that other company was disheartening.I contacted Louisiana Pet Crematory and they kindly agreed to help me re-create the memory I wanted. They truly care and will go above and beyond to help you. This is who you want to take care of your beloved pet when the time comes.

My cat passed away late at night, they told us to wrap her in a small blanket and bring her by even though it was nearly midnight. The owner was extremely kind and gracious. Top Notch Service!
