Stylists were all very friendly. My son (age24) and I went in for haircuts. I have short hair ... pixie cut and just needed a trim. Stacy was my stylist. Definitely DO NOT recommend. I could tell the moment she touched my head that she didn't really know what she was doing ... because she asked how I wanted my bangs. ? Thankfully, the stylist who cut my son's hair was able to recue the disaster of the haircut that Stacy executed. Stacy needs more training!Service: Haircut

Went to find out pricing for a service I wanted and one lady told me one price and then when I went back on the following Monday when the color service special was in effect to ask the special price with everything that I was quoted a different lady was rude and said that the pricing chart was on the wall. Then when I asked about special she then quoted me more that I was told before without the special. I will not be having anything done there ever

I agave taken both my boys to this location twice and both got basically the same hair cuts both times. A little length on the top and a number 2 shave in the back and sides. One son has wavy hair so their mistakes were easy to hide, the other has board straight hair and after we got home, I started to really look at both boys hair cuts. My son with the straight hair, it was so easy to spot huge cuts that weren't even and definitely not done with the thinning sheers! It's a good thing he has a thick head of hair but 3 months later we're getting him a perm and those chunks of hair that she screwed up were extremely hard for the woman to roll (& his hair grows fast)! So, yes you get what you pay for! I will never bring them to that or any other Fantastic Sam's location, EVER!

I went to Fantastic Sam's in Broussard, La to get my hair washed on October 13, 2020. As I entered the salon, the person behind the counter asked me if I had a mask. I proceeded to tell her that myself and my niece both had serious medical conditions that prevented us from wearing masks. She then ignored what I said and pulled out a mask and told me I could purchase one. I stated, "Did you not hear what I just said?" We both have conditions that prevent us from wearing a mask and she then started asking if we had proof of our illnesses. First of all, the Act of 1990 which is the Americans with Disabilities Act, prevents discrimination under any circumstances. To refuse someone entry because of a medical condition(or not wearing a mask because of one is clearly discrimination.) A customer was in the store when the girl asked for proof and stated, "I didn't think you could ask for that." I then said, "It's against the law to even ask." The girl then said, well, you can go ahead and have a seat. I then reported this to Morticia, the supposed owner of the salon. She then stated that she required everyone to wear a mask so I proceeded to inform her of what the Americans with disabilities Act was all about and it didn't matter what she wanted or what the governor wanted, it DID NOT SUPERCED the law and the law is very specific in protecting americans with disabilities. Morticia, may be spelled (Mortitia) then defended the girl's actions by telling a story of a person with oxygen wearing a mask and this is their defense to breaking the law and discriminating against people with disabilities. Morticia, the supposed owner, continued to defend the girl's actions but did admit that she should never have asked me for proof of my illnesses and this part of it is not only protect by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 but our personal medical information is also protected by HIPPA LAWS. NO MANDATES OR MANAGERS SUPERCEDE THE LAW. DO NOT SUPPORT FANTASTIC SAM'S AND THEIR BEHAVIOR. I was waited on but he disabled should never be discriminated against by any business and this one certainly discriminates. If I wouldn't have been so aggressive about the subject and known the law, she certainly would have refused me service. A BIG THUMBS DOWN FOR FANTANSTIC SAMS.
