I had worked at this establishment for over six months as an Assistant Store Manager.I have over 10+ years in management experience, including Store Manager.I have never in life was fired for theift anywhere. This is my career also looking for a degree in Business Management. But after all these years of over top manger jobs, at every place I have worked. I never been fired for stealing anything.And you have no evidence so you have no case against me. Should of did a better investigation before you went with the move you went with. I will not let this go!

I've got to give only two stars. The employees are always kind and greet me when I enter. They're always a pleasure to talk to when checking out.HOWEVER... This store (#1209) makes their own hours. I thought when a store is opened until 10:00 p.m., that meant you can go in there and purchase stuff up until 10:00 p.m.. I didn't realize open until 10:00 p.m. means they close at 9:45 p.m. or 9:50 p.m.. If you're a smoker, you have to buy your cigarettes an hour before they close. Once they get their cigarette count done for the night, and lock the cabinet - you're out of luck! I went there at 9:13 p.m. to buy cigarettes, and was told I couldn't - the cigarettes were closed!!! How can a store be open and cigarettes be closed? Shouldn't you be able to buy anything to store sells during normal business hours? Today is Sunday October 15th 2023, and I went at 12:30 p.m. to buy a 9-volt battery. There was a sign on the door stating that they were closed for lunch break. Do most Family Dollars, or do any family dollar stores close for lunch break??? I waited an hour and at 1:30 I asked another customer who was there before me how long he's been waiting. He stated he got there at 11:50 p.m. He lives in the neighborhood and does not have a car to go to another store and relies on this store and only this store for his needs. The store finally reopened at 1:42 p.m.. To me, closing the store for almost 2 hours for a lunch break is not acceptable! I would have given this store 5 stars - If they wouldn't close in the middle of the day, if I could buy everything I want up until they close at 10:00 p.m., and that they really closed at 10:00 p.m. and not 9:45 or 9:50 p.m.... other than that knowing if the store is going to be open when I get there, and not knowing if I'm going to be able to buy what I want when I get there, the store is great!!!

I like Family Dollars stores! You get in & out , the prices are reasonable, the staff is polite & friendly & they are good on taking back Returns.

Had the doors locked 30 minutes before they even closed. Ignored at the door. Employee just looked at me stupid.

Avoid this store at all cost ,never at the register ,the staff is still in highschool,they play around ,and don't take much seriously
