Rapides Station is a truck stop with a good little store that has all your needs. It is not the biggest but is more cozier and more cheaper. There is a nice open dirt lot for parking, costing ten dollars for the night or a fill up. However, the restaurant is empty, just a hollowed out shell. Visitors should also watch for local police enforcement at nearby stops. Some remember it fondly as a special place from back in the day.
Trying to dirty need some work. Very leery of this place charge you to park. It's all they really have to offer just parking. I'm surprised that it's still there

Man started knocking on my door at 6 am saying i owed him parking and said that parking wasnt free there an pointed to a tiny sign that said fuel or pay the sign was literally smaller then binder had i known ida kept going or paid it but today i couldnt so i got frustrated an went to the loves which had parking

Don't know what the problem is. The sign is clear. Pay to park. 10 bucks ain't much to park when other truck stops are full
