Been trying to get the store on Barksdale to restock Don Julio tequila for weeks. Still they have none. Been going to the store on youree dr to get it. Very inconvenient. Staff are great. It seems like poor management!

Excellent selection and clearance alcohol.The stock person knew more about supply and what is coming/going than some stores know.

I like the staff they are very friendly and very helpful and they are always helping me out and the public. Couldn't ask for more friendly Place. This Thirty is better with people than the other one's you have. The one's in bossier city are not as nice as the one on Barksdale
The first Thrifty Wine & Spirits location was built in 1962 and has recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. The original owners were Roland Toups, James Melton, and Catherine Haynie. The primary focus was and still is, to provide the best prices and the best selection of wine, spirits, beer, and tobacco. In the early days, the original location was operated by the owners themselves. However, as the Shreveport/Bossier market has increased in size and the number of store locations has increased, the operations of the owners have moved to a central office. Thrifty Discount Liquor & Wine currently employs approximately 150 people throughout the 15 store chain.
