Horrible experience!!!! I had to go to office EVERY day and beg for towels. Housekeeping NEVER cleaned our room in over 5 days! The trash outside the door was spilling out over the top of the trash can! Cleaned rooms besides ours but never cleaned ours! Pool had NO WATER so......no swimming. Room was filthy and old! I will NEVER stay there ever again and I do not recommend anyone else to dare to stay there either!

Do not stay here! This place was advertised as a great place that was clean and family friendly, but it was definitely not those things. We checked into our room and there were bugs on the floor, the toilet almost backed up after my husband used it, and he only peed. We ended up asking what the refund policy was because we felt VERY unsafe as a family with two little kids. The other customers were very loud, and many seemed like they were drunk and possibly on drugs. We checked in close to 11:00 pm at night and desperately needed sleep as we had just had a long day of traveling.We were told we would get a 100% refunded since we were not satisfied, per their policy. We NEVER got the refund. We booked this hotel, err motel, through Expedia, and between the motel and Expedia we were treated poorly when trying to get our refund of which we were told we would receive. At one point we received an email from the parent company apologizing for our experience, and then a few days later we got an email from the parent company stating we would not receive our refund at all.Please spend your money elsewhere and save your self the headache of trying to save a few dollars. I wouldn't give this review any stars, but I had to give it at least one in order to submit this review.

As far as the night front desk lady,Kristie, she was AWESOME! *** SHE GETS ALL 5 STARS *** The room how ever, was terrible! *** O STARS *** No trash can anywhere in room, room had houseflies and the remote didn't work. But it was so late we just wanted to sleep. Won't ever be back!

The lady's at the front desk are very nice and accommodating we asked for a room that would allow us to see our truck and trailer and the lady called the workers to get us a clean room to where we could see and was very polite about everything and super sweet the first room we got the only thing we could see from the window was the stairs which I went and talked to the very nice front desk lady and she said she would switch us to a room when it was clean and we had arrived well after checkin time but we understood and she let us wait in the first room for the second one to be ready for us it was ready a few hours later they delivered the new key to us and we went over and when we went to that room we noticed the stairs had huge rusty holes in them as we went up and that the trash underneath the stairs was beyond overflowing then when we arrived in the room you could smell the cleaners they use but upon further inspection all the sheets were dirty and the bathroom sink leaked which was oddly placed inside the bedroom and the shower and toilet were crammed in a closet like space then the next morning before we left I went to go and fill the cooler with ice and the ice was in the front office which was fine I kind of expected it to be a normal push ice machine but it was one you had to scoop your ice from which was perfectly fine because that made it a little easier to control but the place the ice machine was in was extremely nasty and had exposed pipes that were leaking on the ground.

This is the MOST DISGUSTING PLACE I HAVE EVERRRR BEEN TO!!! The pictures are of another hotel! This is NOT part of OVO ,even though they still list as they are !! The first room was supposed to be non smoking... ok fine .. I would think that would include the pot smoke seeping in from next door as well.. so they moved us to another room .. it includes mold on the mattresses as well as patched - non painted walls and a door that was kicked , filthy floors Ans non working lights, CURTAINS HANGING ON BY ONE LOOP .. like they were torn down during a drug bust !!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! Sleep. In. Your. Car! But NoT HeRe!!!!!! Front desk girl was cool ...

When I first arrived on the property there was a lady in the entrance that was barefoot and yelling racial remarks and obscenities; there was a man who was confronted my staff for trying to smuggle in bottles of liquor into the casino, he appeared to be under the influence of something heavy. These were major red flags but due to my reservation be non-refundable I proceeded to check in. Once I arrived in the room there was a horrible stench of an unkept dog and when I checked out the bed there was pet hair and food everywhere in the bed!!!!! Seriously!!!! The bathroom had roaches and the window to the room was broken because I could hear ppl yelling loudly outside the room and when I stepped out I noticed there was a hole in the window. I left and got a room somewhere else. I really didn't care about the $60 fee at this point because my health and safety were waaaaay more important. This place really should not be open after the experience I had but hey u get what u pay for! Some people may enjoy this type of environment but I doubt anyone looking would choose here. I definitely should have read reviews first.

Do NOT stay here!! I regretfully paid for my room before I saw it. The door wouldn't close properly(I had to close it using all of my strength. A piece of sheet rock from the ceiling in the bathroom was on the floor, and the smell was awful. There were sketchy people lurking in the parking lot, that was dimly lit and I felt like I might just get murdered if I stay at this hotel!! The hotel is not working with Expedia and will not refund my money!!! I checked out 5 minutes after checking in and they are saying I spent the night!!! JUST SAY NO!!

Especially considering the price, I had a very good experience. The staff was friendly and honest. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only real criticism that I had was the room felt a bit rundown. It was clean and hospitable amd housekeeping was timely and efficient it upkeep, but the room itself was a bit rough around the edges. Not a bad stay at all though!

Looking at the pictures from reviews, they seemed okay to stay. When we check in to the room it was NOTHING as pictured!! We were given FIVE DIFFERENT ROOMS due something being wrong with them far as completely broken ac unit, ceiling leaking in bathroom, roaches & flies. After changing rooms for a two night stay, I just wanted my deposit back to get to another hotel for a better stay but couldn’t receive dep cause night manager Jason was incapable. We have to wait on housekeeping to check (defected) room! Unsatisfied customer just wanted to leave the place with my dep without coming back.

I viewed pictures online before booking our room and it looked great (For a $60 room anyway) Had pictures of a pretty pool, nice clean outside area and we were stoked to visit!Well, when we got here and checked in (front desk clerk was nice) but our room was horrible. No towels (and when we went to ask for some we were told we had to wait for morning because they didn't have any) - so we couldn't even take a shower on our first night. Gross. The floors looked like they hadn't been swept in months, the mirror had black marker writing all over it, there is trash all in the parking lot. People partying outside their room all hours of the night making it impossible to sleep and the beds felt hard as a rock. I will never in a million years recommend this hotel to anyone, for any reason.The pool was GREEN and unusable - a horrible experience, a waste of money and a ruined vacation.Doesn't deserve even one star.

This place is disgusting. The room was unclean with the last people's hair left in the sink, cigarette burn holes in the blanket and pillowcases, etc. The check-in lobby and the room reeked of stale cigarettes, half the lamps were bent or broken somehow, and the tub was stained brown. The lock on the door was busted and useless. And even though we were checking out by 11, the cleaning ladies showed up around 10:20 and wouldn't leave and we couldn't explain to them that we weren't supposed to be gone for about another 40 minutes because they barely spoke English, so we just grabbed our stuff and left. Good times, would not recommend

I booked a room with a double bed and when I got there they had me down for a single bed. We had to leave and come back because our room wasn't clean yet. When we made it in the room, there was a massive hole in the wall partially covered by two paintings sitting on the floor. We were in a non smoking room and it smelled like smoke. There were even burnt holes in the covers. The remote did not work with the tv. As we were leaving i shook the covers to make sure we didn't leave anything and there was a small spider in the bed. And the "free breakfast" they offer is only cereal, milk, orange juice, and some individually wrapped honeybuns. I wish I could give it 0 stars but the only reason I'm giving it one star is because we did enjoy the pool and the location is great because there's many restaurants around. Definitely not worth the $75 we spent. I would rather spend extra money on a better and safer room! Do not recommend!!

Okay I don’t need a luxury hotel but wow. This is bad. There was dressers outside our door blocking the window, the light switch didn’t work, there was 3 lamps and only one worked, there was 3 decorative sized pillows on the bed, a dirty rag in the shower, hair on the wall in the shower, the mini fridge was dirty and colder on the outside than on the inside and when my husband went to open the door to go see if we could get our money back the door knob fell off the door. Do not recommend this place at all. I took pictures but there not a place to post them. This place is bad and we are finding a new place to stay tonight.

Absolutely would not recommend The Shreveport County Inn! ???? My husband booked this place before reading the reviews- and after I asked him to read all the reviews he still decided to stay here. Big mistake! The pictures speak volumes!Our experience:I waited in the car as my husband did the check in process because of the comments made in the reviews. The other reviews were right, it took less than a minute to be bothered by druggies/panhandlers."Check in was ok and friendly but she did not explain when breakfast was or check out."We parked the car and agreed to pull everything out of the car. Some may think that is paranoia, but we are from New Mexico and the homeless and panhandlers break into cars on the daily, especially out of towners.Walking into room 101 we are immediately hit with the smell of piss and mildew. Instantly I am annoyed that the reviews are correct and this is a dump. We should have left but we didn't- don't be us- don't stay here!The pillows have been washed so many times they are folded into square lumps. The blankets have cigarette burns and stains! They smell so bad! 3 of the 4 lights provided do not work and one is missing an actual light. The bathroom tub wasn't just a trickle of water constantly coming out- but a steady flow all night. We had to close both doors to mask the sound. Speaking of sound you can hear every single person outside just loitering and the people in the room above us.The outlets do not work. We had to move the fridge and microwave just to get them to work. Black mold in the bathroom.The kicker- there is a sign that says if you forget anything just ask them for it and they'll be happy to provide it. So, I actually did forget my toothbrush. I walked over to the front desk, because as you can see, the phone provided no information whatsoever. (Thank goodness there wasn't an emergency- the phones usually at the very least have an address on them!)Walking into the lobby you smell cigarettes and see three blacked out rooms for gambling. When I spoke to the gal she said they have toothbrushes but she has no access to any of the house cleaning supplies and I would have to wait until the morning. Why bother having that sign in the room if you, the front desk, the customer's only contact, has no access to the supplies we may forget?? Is that a joke?I asked her when breakfast and check out was- 6am breakfast and checkout at 11am.Terrible sleep. Thx lumpy pillows and freezing room with no good blankets.We went to get breakfast at 7:30a and literally all they provided was prepackaged sticky buns and cold cereal, fruit loops and corn flakes. Seriously- no proteins, no fruit, no coffee... this was another joke.At this point I am tired and cranky as hell towards my husband. I highly recommend avoiding the fight and go somewhere else!!The only reason they have a 1 star is the location. It basically has everything around it. Oh! And the tap water is yellow!! Thank goodness for the gas station next door.

I am not the type to need anything fancy, i booked a room here this past weekend because i assumed we would spend more time at the casino so we just needed somewhere to sleep. HORRIBLE idea. You get what you pay for. We checked in went to the room, there was a hole in the door, no bathroom light, phone didnt work, sheets and pillows were horribly stained, the room smelled like mildew. We immediatly got our money back and paid $40 more at a different hotel. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone other than drug dealers and hookers.
