Despite having a confirmed reservation, I was informed an hour past my pick-up time that there was no vehicle for me. The agent on the phone confirmed that a text was NOT sent to me, so I was in no way notified. I was told the manager would contact me, and Johnericka (not sure of spelling) did. She stated she would be following up with another location to find a vehicle in light of my reservation. She never followed up and her phone conveniently goes to voicemail after 5p. I am now unable to find a vehicle for my work trip, despite having had a reservation from multiple days ago.

Worst experience......car had service message and tire light on. Told woman in office was told those were sensor problems.....no the tire kept losing pressure. When we called to have the issue corrected we were told we would have to take it to Firestone with a voucher. We took our time to go fix their car......another Hertz office took our rental car and wouldn't give it back ......they stranded me without a car. Worst experience ever.......

I made a reservation through a 3rd party and for some reason, it wasn’t as stated. Jonterrica went above and beyond and got me a better deal than I originally got in the first place. Kudos to her for knowing how to make it right!

All the bad reviews are 100% accurate. I should've listened. Booked online and went to pick up and told no cars were available. They gave no extra information and acted like they didn't want to rent to us anyway. Customer service horrible, never answered phone when I called before making the reservation.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They contacted me the night before Beyoncé's concert and told me they have no vehicles and told me after every rental place was closed. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism of this place.

Had a reservation and it was prepaid. My flight arrived early and was told my car wasn't ready. I sat at the airport for 2 hours and then was told they didn't have enough vehicles and there were 7 people before me. Even though I've had this reservation for over a month. And I prepaid. Now I'm waiting for a refund and have no car. Also the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. If I could give a negative star I would.

This location refuses to honor corporate policy. I had a reservation made over 24 hrs prior to my arrival that they would not honor. I was offered an upgrade for an additional $125. I asked the rep to call the manager who would only reduce the fee $25. After leaving the location minus my vehicle I read thru the confirmation emailI originally got and saw I was supposed to get an upgrade at my original cost and called corporate customer service since this location was closed for the day. Corporate agreed I should have gotten another vehicle with no additional cost but since they were closed would only offer me a vehicle from another location for an additional $600. I think from now on I use Enterprise.

If ZERO stars was an option, that is definitely what I would have chosen. I made my reservation two weeks in advance and my husband called the day before to inquire as to whether or not a car would be available. We arrived thirty minutes before our arrival time and they told us it would be an additional two hours before a car “may” be available. To say I’m livid would be an understatement. I do not understand how this establishment is still in business. PLEASE take your business elsewhere! I was able to go to a nearby competitor and get a rental vehicle in a timely manner.

Is 0 stars an option? Absolutely the worst experience.We dealt with the worst customer service and frustrating rental experience. We booked our rental out of Bossier City. Prior to the day of pick up I received an obscure, unclear message that apologized for any inconvenience but didn’t explicitly state that they didn’t have a vehicle. I text and called the number that text me without success. I called the location and was eventually connected to a team member (not on location) that stated they had a vehicle available for us.Upon arrival to the Bossier location (where we scheduled pick up) there was a sign in the door stating they were running out of the Shreveport. We called the number provided and no one answered. We drove to the other location at which point the team member informed us that they did not have a vehicle for us. She slowly walked by us several times, seemingly wandering aimlessly before she eventually told us that we shouldn’t have come in until she let us know that she had a vehicle for us because of the unclear text message she sent. She said they would be sending someone out to the airport location in an hour or we could drive there ourselves. We had to drive to a THIRD location. They were able to accommodate our reservation with additional fees for renting from an airport. We waited as we were told the vehicle was being cleaned; it was not cleaned and had food and garbage all over the vehicle. We were told the gas tank was full; it was not. This was massively inconvenient; we wasted a vast amount of time, mileage and gas; we dealt with rude unsympathetic staff; we were over 2 hours delayed leaving and we incurred extra costs added to our rental. This was absolutely unacceptable and terrible customer care.

Don’t even bother with this location. I reserved and booked a rental in advance, and they had no car for me to use at all.

Just terrible service. National and local need to do better when it comes to customer service. Whenever my family and I try to rent a car from here, there's always an issue."We don't have any cars available.""National overbooked us.""You're not getting a car today."If you guys know that you're overbooking & don't have any vehicles available, call your customers and let them know before their appointment. Let peoplehave the option to change their plans.
