First, I'd like to preface this review with context.I have been a customer of CVS, specifically the pharmacy, for longer than 6 years. I have taken my children there for vaccines, and, I have probably spent in the 10's of thousands of dollars on prescriptions, OTC medications and, other medical supplies. Over the course of mine and my families time coming to this specific pharmacy I have subsequently come to know several of the cashiers, pharmacy techs and pharmacists who, I thought were Great and I truly enjoyed. Initially, everyone we have come in contact with has all been amazing, helpful, understanding, hard working and friendly. Within a few months of starting to use CVS, we moved, however, despite the long drive, we continued to use this store, simply because we adored the staff.Over the course of these last 6 months, customer service has been seriously, tangibly and, severely lacking. This is not to say that there have been recent times where we have encountered acceptable service, however, this pharmacy is a former shell of what it used to be.I, being in adjacent medical field absolutely/unfortunately understand that when times get busy and, patient workload is at an all time high, patience and compassion are some of the first to go to the wayside. We have been told, with attitude, "people have called out today", "We have a lot of prescriptions to fill" but, absolutely none of these are a valid excuse for not been treated with respect. The outright rudeness, unacceptable talking down to and, blatant lying to we have experienced Is Never and Will Never be acceptable.I currently have multiple medications being filled with multiple refills so, for now, I will continue to use this pharmacy, however, as soon as possible I believe that I will be changing my and my families pharmacy.

I was helped at check out by a lady named Angela or "Kay". She was one of the rudest and most condescending people I have ever experienced at both CVS and in my time working retail. I used to be an assistant store manager at Best Buy and currently am a small business owner. The whole interaction with this particular employee was off-putting and felt like anything that had to do with my experience was a huge inconvenience for her to do her job. I dropped off my son's prescription at the CVS store # 5396 at roughly 12pm on 1/10/24. I was told by the drop off employee that my prescription would be ready at 2:30pm after the employees lunch break. I arrived at approximately 3:15pm to pick up the two medications that were supposed to be filled. Angela was whom I first interacted with at the pick up counter. She asked for the name on the prescription and DOB. The first part of this interaction, I could already tell that she was going to be very RUDE. She asked how to spell my son's name and I confirmed. She then said that it was not her problem that she couldn't find the prescription and said that I had to go back to check in to figure out what was going on. This was after I had explained that I dropped off my son's prescription three hours ago. She did not offer any further help or seem interested in figuring out what had happened. Again just very condescending with body language and at one point shook her head and laughed at me. I was just trying to fill a prescription for my son who was in hives and had the flu. I proceeded to the check in counter and was helped by the head pharmacist. I do not recall his name honestly but he was part of the market team. After I re-explained that I had dropped off my prescription at 12pm and was here to pickup. He went through a pile of prescriptions and found my son's two. He said it would be ready now in 15 minutes. I asked so was my prescriptions just never processed? He said yes sir but I will have them ready in 15 minutes. I also explained that the employee that helped me in check out was extremely rude and did not seem to want to help me. He didn't seem phased by this and it was just an odd non chalant response. I go and browse the store and wait in my vehicle for another 20 minutes. I proceeded back to the check out counter after waiting and again, Angela helped me there. She looks up my son's name again and said well it's gonna be another 20-30 minutes. I went on to explain that my prescription wasnt filled initially and that the pharmacist was making mine a priority 20 minutes ago. She just kept nodding her head and saying that it wasn't her problem. To be honest, at this point I was pretty upset and did not want to be helped by this employee any longer but I needed this particular medication from this pharmacy because it was the only location that had it in stock. I would like to be contacted to further explain my experience.

These people in this pharmacy are the most incapable bunch of employees I have ever seen,.. No one knows whats going on,. If you need medicine DO NOT go here. You will have to hold their hands and literally do their jobs for them... Miss. Mills, was rude and was literally saying she had all these others in front of us, when ours has been in their system for almost 2 full days..They literally said they could not see or find the fax that was sitting in their system.. Even after the Nurse called and faxed it 3 times,.. then they put us behind everyone for his prescription while our father waits on life saving medication.

Check your prescriptions before you leave! I have had the wrong dosages, even the wrong medications filled. Scary. I know the pharmacists are not the bean counters, but they still sign off on what is given out. I think it’s time for one pharmacist in particular to retire, or her license should be revoked. Some of the ladies are friendly and hard working, but some are also rude and lazy.

Medicine called in by my Dr @.3pm. My husband stops to get @ 6pm. He was told , the script called in was wrong. So I called my Dr. The script wasn't wrong. Called back, rude lady said your insurance doesn't cover it. Fine but husband was told something different. Get on goodrx to find a coupon. Called back to see if cvs would take it. We'll the person who answered said I didn't have any meds then yell my info through the pharmacy. Rude lady gets back on says we will accept coupon but won't be ready tonight. What the heck they close at 9. Don't people get meds bc they need them? I can come get tomorrow! Never in my life have dealt with , dr calling in meds buy can't pick them up.

Bald black guy didn’t have the care to get up and go through the queue or what just came off the truck. “We may or may not have it. I’m not about to get up right now and check for you.” My apologizes for inconveniencing your day.

My doctors office called my meds in, Thursday @ 4:00, I called all weekend and was told they didn’t have anything for me. Contacted my doctors office Tuesday morning ~ they were closed for New Years ~ and they contacted CVS. They were told since this location had just got in trouble, they’re no longer taking new patients?!?! Why couldn’t they have told me this 5 days ago?!?! The pharmacist has that much authority & can pick and choose whose meds he/she will fill?!?! I’m not a new patient there, I have RECENTLY had meds filled at this location because it’s a few blocks from my house.

I have been using this CVS pharmacy for about 12 years now. I absolutely LOVED this pharmacy, very personable, they just took care of you. Can’t recall any past issues, but If there were any issues Jude or one of the staff took care of the issue very quick! Within the past year. This place has turned into a complete nightmare!! From calling, dropping off, and/or picking up, they are miserable to deal with. All of the techs used to be super nice, caring, and most of all VERY helpful….but now…they aren't happy to help you at all. Yesterday I stopped to pick up my husband’s prescriptions. He had 2 ready to be picked up. Tech tells me he doesn’t have any ready, I said “ well, my husband has a couple voicemails saying they were ready” The tech rudely says no, he doesn’t have anything. Get home tell my husband, “ hey they didn’t have anything ready for you at the pharmacy.” I didn’t get around to the pharmacy until a few days after my husband told me to begin with. Well, after so many days, they put it back in stock and you have to re fill it again. Which is fine, but USED to, they would take the time out to say,”well, I can see that these were put back into stock, would you like us to go ahead and fill them again, we can have them ready for pick up tomorrow? Like…Why don’t they do this anymore? The lady at the window acted so inconvenienced I was appalled. Of course she wasn’t going to take 30 seconds to help a customer after they waited in line FOREVER! Last week I called to refill a prescription, I was told they were out of stock and they should have it in a couple of days. No big deal, called back 3 days later, the lady says they are still out of stock on the generic (didn’t even know there was a generic for my medicine but ok), I then asked “well, do you have the brand name in stock?” Waited on hold for 9 mins, she came back and said yes, we have the brand name, but we have already processed the generic to be filled when we receive it in stock and I dont think I can change it. I told her they need to get it changed to the brand name, and that I know they probably had the brand name in stock 3 days ago and they could have filled it then. They do not offer any other options or lookup anything to better assist you. They don’t lift a finger or waste another second to help you. If I wouldn’t have known to ask that, I’d still be waiting for my prescription to get filled. 3 weeks ago I Picked up an automatic refill of my daughters, get home, there is 7 of a 30 day supply. Which was odd, but I called them, they informed me that it was processed through insurance incorrectly, but assured me they would correct the issue and I could just come by to pick up the remaining.. 2 days later, after waiting for 45 mins in line, They told me I filled that prescription days before and it had already been picked up, lol….um…””correct but yall only filled a 7 day supply…” Of course the lady I talked to days before didn’t remember.. Well, They needed proof of only filling 7 instead of 30. Drove home and then back to cvs, showed them the 7of 30 day supply bottle… waited 30 mins and left with the remaining supply. I was pretty frustrated to say the least, but even more so that they don't say, “ We apologize for the inconvenience, and/ or even explain to me what occurred so that It doesn’t happen again in the future. I am a VERY PATIENT PERSON, it takes a lot for me to get frustrated: these are just a few scenarios …..I have story after story of issues about this cvs from the past year. They act like your incompetent and your just an inconvenience to them! You will quickly learn they are incompetent not you! Their attitudes are horrible. Moving my family’s prescriptions elsewhere , hope this helps

I have loved this store, but I will never darken its door again! At 10 a.m. I dropped off 2 prescriptions for my husband after taking him home from his day surgery. I was told it would be ready at 1 p.m. I gave them a little extra time because it's never ready, and went in at 1:35, only to be told that the pharmacy just closed from 1:30-2 for lunch. Dude could have let me know that at 10. Wasted a trip. Went back at 2 p.m. and after waiting in a long line, I was told it wasn't ready, that I'd have to see the drop off dude again. I said, "No, I saw him at 10:00, and he said come at 1:00." She asked him, and he said it wasn't ready. I waited until almost 3 and then asked them to call and transfer it to the pharmacy across the street. They refused. They told me they could give me back my paper prescriptions, and then I waited some more because they couldn't find one of them. The pharmacy across the street didn't have one of the medicines, so I called my husband and told him I was going somewhere else. He said he just got an email that he had 2 prescriptions ready at CVS. He told me to go back. At CVS, they said there was only one ready. They didn't have the other. And to get that one, I had to go back with the paper prescriptions to get them reprocessed. I told them I wouldn't be back. And I had intended to buy a few over the counter things. I'm going to miss the old CVS. Not this. Y'all need to get Jude the Dude back as the pharmacy manager. He was friendly and had it running well! I went across the street and dropped off the prescription that they did have. I waited 25 minutes for it. And it got delayed more because they had to straighten out a situation. CVS had already billed my insurance. I didn't even pick up any medicine. I should have started with the pharmacy across the street.
