“A great help for me. This year was my first year at the Christmas market. I cannot describe how kind and helpful all workers and volunteers are. My grandkids attended their summer camp and loved it. So thankful for this blessing they give to people who need kindness and help.”

“We’ve had several strays, ferals and our own household cats spayed and neutered here and they are excellent at what they do. They are very responsive to questions about after care and it’s the most affordable option for our community.”

“Warm welcoming traditional Episcopal Church in downtown Shreveport. On the National Historic Landmark registry. The interior is breathtakingly beautiful with seating for 400! The pipe organ sounds magnificent. This jewel is hiding in plain site, across from the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.”

“Honestly I haven't had an experience with the Providence house personally. I rated it 5 stars because when I went there to yalls toy distribution to your clients the lady I spoke with outside gave me some helpful information regarding my situation and I thought it was very kind of her to do so. She didn't have to and she did and I truly appreciated it.”

“Misinformed as I took out more than ten hours of my day to arrange meetings with one particular staff member who gave me website to register for NorthWest Louisiana film and art events not knowing that my personal bio for my reality truth story about Friday night lights would be stolen. This really crushed my spirit knowing that the city supports an unsecured website that asks for all of your information. It was snatched from me as I finished to send it in, and I couldn't go back. There are people who are suffering with mental health and physical limitations and to not be able real help and support from paid staff members brings a discouraging and depression over the city that affects everyone.Hope someone will read this who has the drive to go beyond and reach out to the minds of those who are waiting for truthfulness to operate the art that comes from heaven.”

“I adopted my first ever dog from this AMAZING place. The staff was patient during the adoption process and did everything they could to pair me with the perfect friend for me and my situation. I came to find out later that everyone here is a volunteer and no one is paid. That just makes the time they spent not only pairing me and my buddy, but also the time they spent caring for him before we met, even more valuable. I can not thank HSNWLA enough for everything they did for me and all the care that they showed through the entire process, and continue to show.”
