Jeanfreau's has all the basic equipment that you need and many specialty items that would be hard to find elsewhere. Of course it is much easier to get help and answers here than at the popular large hardware stores.

Woke up Sunday morning to no hot water, turns out the "thermopile" is done, and the ONLY place within 50 miles that has it IN STOCK is Jeanfreau's! Since I work in Belle Chasse, I already knew how to get there. Great folks, really glad they were open on Sunday!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Items were a little more than the big stores, but it's better than waiting in traffic to go to the other big box store
