“The knowledge and experience of working on your own vehicle is one of the most valuable things I've ever learned. I've used auto skills centers at nearly every duty station I've been to. They have always been staffed with skilled staff and stocked with the latest tools and equipment. This was no different. They had everything I needed and worked with me to get the best price for their services.
It was cheaper than going out in town and the skilled staff can make the difference between a botched costly repair and a quick easy job.
I grew up in a family of mechanics and have been working on cars since I could turn a wrench. I can vouch that the staff know what they are doing and provide great advice. It's like the convenience of working at my dad's shop except without the 14 hour drive.”
“Brought my van for installation of new tires and balancing. Not only they did a quick and clean job ( 30 min) but they aired up both tires AND put my spare tire back inside it's compartment ( who ever dealt with vans knows their spare tires might be stored in most unusual and tight spaces??♀️) I was so NOT looking forward squeeze that spare back where it came from, but awesome Tire Shack guys did it for me! ?”
“My husband's AC compressor went out in his '17 Ford F250 so we called a few local shops and everyone pointed us in the direction of Gary May at Belle Chasse Automotive. I checked the reviews and saw a few negatives but we decided to go ahead and bring his truck in to them, anyway, and I am SO GLAD WE DID!!! They gave us a quote as soon as his truck could be seen, ordered the part that was needed, and had his truck ready to go literally two days later. They called to let us know his truck was ready for pick up, the cost was exactly what they had quoted, no surprises. We picked his truck up after work and have had freezing cold AC, no problems whatsoever. I don't know who has had issues with this shop or why, but we were extremely pleased with the entire experience. Highly recommend ??????”
