I have been calling for two days trying to get in touch with this pharmacy. Answer the phone Walgreens, this is ridiculous. I have pneumonia and can't get my meds.

All I’m gonna say is if you don’t like working with people, please stop getting jobs where you have to work with people. And there is no reason why you should be asking a customer to verify their information to pick up their medication before they can even finish a line of information you’re interrupting them asking them for different pizza information is either use one piece of info. I understand it’s gonna be a long address or use the shorter one to begin with, but you don’t interrupt people or take whatever frustrations you have or whatever you’re going through out on customers. I’m honestly getting really tired of this trend happening with businesses in this city at this point.

While the pharmaceutical staff was absolutely wonderful, this place is disgusting. There was stuff splattered on the wall next to the waiting area in the pharmacy that my three-year-old almost got into not to mention all the trash that was just sitting all around on all of the seating in the waiting area and when we went into the bathroom, it was a horrific mess and I was told by one of the employees that works there that it’s because the janitor is a male and doesn’t want to go in the women’s bathroom to invade anyone’s privacy so he just chooses not to clean it.

If I could give 0 stars I would, this was the worst experience I've ever had with a pharmacy... These people need to be fired! First told me my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes I come back and they tell me I can not get my script because my doctor is too far and literally asked me why do I go to a Dr in Hammond... These people don't care if you die, they pick and choose who they want to help they had me so out of character in there over my damn script! Policy my a##! Never in my life have I had
a freaking technician tell me I'm not their patient at a walgreens smh these people are disgusting!!! One thing you don't do is play with folks medication. Q

I just don’t know what’s wrong with these people. I waited weeks for them to fill my prescription and when they finally did, they insisted I pick it up immediately when I was home for Thanksgiving break. That was not possible for me. I have a life too. I was ready to pick it up with the prescription was sent, but y’all weren’t. Within days, they resold my medicine and deleted my prescription, I guess. To resell it after y’all always make me wait much longer is one thing, but why would you even delete it? What is the point of that? Every time I see a doctor to get a new prescription, it’s a $50 copay. The girl in front of me in line had the same problem which tells me it’s not a freak incident. I’m not even angry (at the of the day I doubt it’s the people working there’s fault,) I’m just really, really sad there’s so much greed in the world. Somebody’s medicine is more than a way for you to make money. I just felt too pathetic to wait and speak to the manager after she ignored me as a line formed, so I guess this review is just my way of feeling like I kinda almost said something. If I had my anxiety meds, perhaps I would’ve faced you.

They always close at least an hour early, the drive was closed for a year, they decide you don't need some of your prescriptions and don't tell you that they didn't fill them, sometimes you'll be on hold for an hour just for them to pick up the phone and hang up on you, they don't always give you all the the prescriptions you paid for, they're rude when they do pick up the phone, the list goes on and on. I'll add more later when I think of more.

The pharmacy is the worst. The employees are rude and unhelpful. Tough luck if they don't have something in stock. It's your problem not theirs. They need to learn efficiency when filling prescriptions and an attitude adjustment.

This is really a lousy Walgreens. Sometime ago I switched from their competitor across the street. At first, Walgreens was marginally better. Then it slowly became just the same. Now it's worse. The problem is clearly with management. Staff at the pick up are slow, don't really care about their jobs, and don't seem to care about efficiency or customer service. While the individuals might be slack, the real issue is that management is not providing oversight and making sure things work smoothly. I just waited 30 min with only 1 person in front of me...service was that bad but it's not unusual. I'll be changing.
