Not good service at all. I had to beg them to run a discount card to see if it comes up cheaper than my insurance because i asked them to check my insurance information when i went to pick up my meds last time and they refused. They said it’s BCBS but i never gave them my information so i wanted to check. I had two discount cards, begged him to try them, he tried one and refused to try the other one and said he can transfer my prescriptions to a different pharmacy, i said i don’t want them to go to a further away pharmacy, he said that’s all he can do for me or i can bring the card when i go in or he can transfer my call to someone else to help. That’s crazy, i worked as a pharmacy tech for two years, never ever troubled a single person. I did whatever they asked for. The guys i got transferred to was very nice.

They transfered my prescription to a different location (that didn't have it I stock) and they didn't tell me. They were kinda rude about it. Pointing out the price. Yes it is expensive ... we have insurance for a reason.

Has to be the worst pharmacy in Baton Rouge. Go through the drive through literally any time of the day and you'll wait 30 minutes minimum. Go inside, it's not better; maybe worse. And in my experience the people have not been very helpful either.

I was told 15mins to fill my prescriptions. I've been in line for 2 hours.... Can't blame the people inside, because they don't make the rules... Walgreens count your days baby...

I travel around the country and I always use Walgreens because I know that there will be a Walgreens in any town that I live in whether it's a inner city, suburban, or rural area there is a Walgreens . I've lived in several different places around the United States, and been to several Walgreens. The Walgreens in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Highland and Airline is by far the absolute best. Walgreens I've ever been in, in my entire 51 years of existence. Every time I walk in the door, everybody says hello welcome to Walgreens and then they add my name to it. I know the night manager very well by just coming into the store, and we have some pretty good conversations along with the Night Shift staff that works there. The pharmacy at this Walgreens is the best pharmacy I have ever been to all the pharmacist knows me, all the pharmacy techs knows me. Pharmacy will call me to review my medicine every six months which I am gladly to do with them. They even caught a medicine that I was taking that with counteracting another medicine that the doctor gave me and they contacted me the next day to tell me about it. will never know, but that could've saved my life. The pharmacy staff is second to none and they do not lie to me either. I understand in a post Covid world that some medicines are not carried in the store that they need to be ordered and will be in the next day. That's just the world we live in now. But they are always honest with me about it . Which I appreciate honesty and integrity which this Walgreens pharmacy and store absolutely has. I am surprised this Walgreens on yelp is rated so low. I go in there at least 3 to 4 times a week for the last year and all I have seen is nothing but a family atmosphere working at this location . I've never seen any guest get upset yell scream or anything. If you're reading this and you used to go to this Walgreens , I'm begging you give it another chance. The people that work there at night because I've never been in during the day are genuine and wonderful and caring individuals. You will be satisfied.

i usually go to cvs by my house and it is awful! I thought I would try walgreens next to my work location and took my break to go get my prescription and stood in the back to see everything closed up. pharmacist walks by and said closed for lunch 130-230, no sorry for wasting your time, just kept walking. nothing on internet, front door or in pharmacy. It is just full of non caring staff.

A nice store though sometimes aisles are cluttered. The pharmacy people are great, but they're always so busy (and still doing a great job!). This location needs to expand its Pharmacy since, as a longtime, semi-regular shopper, it seems to me that that's where most of their business comes from.

If I could give the staff at this store no stars I would, the pharmacy staff was horrible!! The rudest people, the pharmacy tech hung up on me, was purposely taking a long time to get my prescription, laughing and talking about me right in front of my face, then was as rude as she possibly could be in the phone cutting me off to talk over me and hanging up on me before she even got the information. I have never had someone be so rude!! I want to file a formal complaint and I want a manager to call me. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had!! I am shocked that Walgreens allows this type of treatment to their customers!! I will be complaining on multiple websites!! The two women who were working the pharmacy are Crystal and Rochelle, from what I could understand because the girl did not want to give me her name.

I had two appointments yesterday for my daughter and I to get dose 1 of the vaccine. We waited in line for close to 2 hours for the pharmacy tech to tell me that my insurance card was not valid. I called my insurance company on the phone & representative confirms that my insurance is in fact valid. I continue to wait while she presses buttons. She then hands my card back and says it isn’t working. I asked that she consult with a supervisor for further direction. She walks away & comes back to hand me my card. No apology, no consulting with a supervisor, no smile-nothing! Terrible service!!!! I miss the time when friendly service was a priority.

Waited more than 30 minutes in line to pick up meds only to be told they’re out of stock. Never using Walgreens again.
