There was one person working there at the busiest time of the day, which i understand they are short staffed so im not complaining about the lack of employees as that person wasn’t in control of that. But I just had one package and wrote the TO and From on it very boldly. The employee didn’t ask me to confirm who it was going to so I figured it was pretty straightforward. I waited about a week to see if it had gotten delivered to my dad. When it hadn’t arrived by expected date, I checked the tracking and said it had been delivered to Baton Rouge. Strange I thought, so i checked my own mail box and there it was. They had delivered it to the return address clearly marked FROM and completely ignored the TO address without even checking with me first. Why would I want to send a package to myself? ?♀️

OMG Carla, that works at the front counter desk, has absolutely the best customer service I've ever experienced at this location. She was polite, dressed in the proper usps uniform. She answered all of my questions without an attitude. The energy she provides to this location is amazing. Thank you for being an amazing person and spreading joy to everyone while getting the job down with excellence. #sharethelove

Very grateful to these employees. My husband cremated remains were mailed and delivered to an old address, when I found out that were refused and returned I went to the office and they located package and gave it to me. Awesome. Thank you very much. To USPS at Perkins Road Location.

Manager is very protective over his employees who don’t do their job. Must be nice to have a manager like that. He always questions customers first before apologizing for his employees poor performance. It is like a local gang. You know your complaints will go no where, but you have no choice because you need mail services.

Pitiful customer service. Not helpful at all. Employees rolling eyes at customers. Not friendly. No products to seal packages available to sell and employee wouldn’t offer to seal package. These employees look like they are completely miserable. They could really use an inservice on customer hospitality. This is absolutely insane. I have watched at least 3 customers get turned away just because of the employees lack of interest, enthusiasm, etc. Disgusting.

I understand this is a government ran facility. But this has got to be the worst that I can say I've been to. Nobody answers the doorbell or knocks on the door. They have a nice priority mail set up but no place to drop your package. The big huge box that says place package here was so full it wouldn't open. I waited a bit until the pick up time on the box and spoke to 2 very friendly ladies that assured me they picked up the package I dropped in the wrong bin. Nice people, just not enough of them.

Twice now I have dropped off prepaid packages here, and it takes up to a week to start tracking. It makes me look so bad as a seller. Avoid
