This is a bad place to donate to. I tried to donate some house wares this morning. The employee was so rude I couldn't accomplish it. You'd expect staff at a charity receiving donations to be polite; think again, they're not even civil. There are lots of other charities in the area to give to. I don't recommend trying to give to this one.

The little old lady that was working Saturday was on a power trip. Wouldn’t let me buy a stereo that was already on the sales floor because they needed to check to see if it worked. Two other employees helped me and tested it to see that it did work but the older lady refused to sell it to me. Told me they needed a manager to check it out after already seeing it worked. She told me to leave my name and number and they would call me and hold it until then. They did not call me. I went in this morning to see it was on the sales floor with a sales tag that was dated from Saturday. She gave me a billion and one reasons why I couldn’t buy it on Saturday. Awful customer service from her. The other two employees I could tell were also confused and frustrated with her.

If I could give zero stars I would. The person standing in the back “accepting” donations was extremely rude and condescending. One of the most unfriendly, laziest people I’ve ever met. I will be taking donations elsewhere, where there is some level of gratitude.

I will be going there to shop again. They were overpriced on a lot of the items, so I bought what I found to be reasonably priced. The staff was amazing!! They were friendly and very helpful.

Always find something here that I just can't believe someone has donatedToday I bought a ceramic vase made by a very popular potter from Pigeon Forge paid less than $ 10.00 and it sells for way more online.

This thrift store has cleaned up a lot. It used to be a little disorganized. But now they are boutique style. It looks really nice and still the inexpensive prices on great slightly used and new merchandise.

The lady who worked at SVDP on Thursday, May 27, is a very rude person and has no business working at a Christian based business. I pulled up to the curb to leave four boxes of my things... my good stuff including china and crystal made in France. She acted like I came there everyday and wasn't following the rules and treated me like I was an intruder. I arrived at 9:40 and " we don't take donations before 10". "you can't park there, you have to drive to the back". Well, there are other places I can don'ate my things. This lady prob. pretends to be nice, but she is not a nice person and certainly no a Christian. She should go home and let nice people work there.

Every time I enter the Staring Lane St. Vincent de Paul store, I feel very welcomed. The staff is working efficiently to bring new items out for display all the while, tending to the register and keeping the store organized. I love shopping at St. Vincent de Paul, because I know that every penny I spend goes to help someone who is truly in need‼️❤️??❤️

Online says they are open at 11 on Sunday but they are still closed after noon. Store is nice when it is open.
