When I checked in, they had fresh cookies and they said they would have them the whole time we were there when I came back later last night I asked where the cookies were and the lady at the desk rudely said they won’t have them until Saturday so someone doesn’t know what Everybody else is doing. The most important part was that when we’re choosing our hotel on the Marriott app, we chose this hotel because of the location and coffee in the lobby. When I went to get coffee around 9:00 AM both canisters of coffee were empty. I asked the kitchen employee if she had more copy, and she slightly dismissed me saying she hadn’t had time to make more. I came back 30 minutes later to get some coffee there no canisters on the counter at that point and the gentleman at the front desk apologize and said no more coffee extremely frustrating and I tried not to express my irritability, but I needed coffee the bathroom in the room, dirty and nasty I didn’t even want to shower the front entrance appeared clean, but the room was nasty. The cards that carry your luggage were so rickety that you could barely push them with your luggage. I am absolutely shocked that Marriott put their name behind this hotel. It’s more like a roach motel.Rooms: Rooms do not feel clean. I didn’t even take a shower here. I’m waiting for the next hotel.Food & drinks: Don’t think you’re gonna get coffee in lobby because you won’t

Located central to shopping, dining, and hospitals, this place is very clean and nice. The front desk attendant was able to give me a room directly by the exit, which provided easy access in and out of the hotel.I thought I left my phone in the room after checkout, and the lady answering phones went above and beyond to find my phone.This was a joyful experience, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Baton Rouge.

Good breakfast, but no hot water for three days. Carpet coming up down the halls, toilets dirty and shower overflow face plate had something growing out of it#106Rooms: Housekeeping very friendly and nice, left towels on the door for me while I was sleeping❤️

The hotel looks very nice, but there is a noticeable musty smell when you walk in. The elevator also smells. The room was nice, except the bathroom. It looks as though the room got an upgrade and bathroom just got a fresh coat coat of paint. You could see the cracks and worn walls underneath. The shower is new but the sliding door is terribly loud. I also don’t like that the sink is outside of the bathroom. The bathroom is so small that when sharing a room you don’t have anyplace to put your clean clothes. It made showering for 5 awkward and time consuming.Nice looking sofa but dry stains on it. Comfortable beds. Some of the guests (or possible loiterers) were a little too ghetto for my liking. Shirtless hood looking dudes in the lobby getting breakfast and talking loud on their cell phones and the staff don’t seem to mind. There is no pool so no reason to be shirtless anyway. The girl at the front desk was too busy scrolling on her cell phone to care. There was “red poop” on the toilet in the men’s bathroom that freaked my kid out. Yeah, wouldn’t recommend this place.

This place looks nice and is affordable but lots of small issues. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower, a sink that barely drains, 3 towels for a room that holds 6 - we had 5. Then when I asked for two towels I was told house keeping would bring them up. They never did. Nothing life altering bad just disappointing and inconvenient.

No Pool contrary to what was said. What a bummer on a very hot Louisiana day. Never warmed up to this hotel needs a little update with air conditioners. Right next to the bed very noisy and if you wanted to cool the room it will freeze you since it is blowing right on you.

I just want to say my experience was wonderful! Staff overall was very polite & helpful . Front desk clerk i believe name was (Tierra) was very helpful , and nice ? ! Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable although i didn’t like temperature of room when i arrived , breakfast was delicious i loved it my family & I will be staying again Thanks so Much SpringHillSuites

***NOT PET FRIENDLY!*** On Google it shows that they allow pets but that is not the case. Wish I would have known before pre-paying and then showing up late at night after a long day of driving ? I'm hopeful the third-party booking service I used will issue a refund. Management needs to update how the hotel is advertised on Google.

Double charged my account, then tried to charge it a 3rd time. Their actions caused my bank to cancel my card while on this business trip. Offered points to make up for shady charges but never received them. Something fishy at this place. Always check your account if you stay here.

No Pool at this location.. Staff was nice, breakfast was good overall when they had waffles. Room was okay, a little dated, AC a little loud, window was partially fogged. Giving four stars because the Gym was much nicer than I expected! Again NO POOl at this location. The hotel should remove the photos of the pool.

Mary at the counter was very nice. She let us try crawfish. It was so good. Thanks Mary. The housekeeping was the issue. No one ever came to clean our room. When I asked for bath towels and wash clothes she stated she would bring us some and she never returned. Breakfast is included in the price. That's a plus with saving a little money.

I travel to Baton Rouge frequently for work. Recently, I booked a room at a different location. At the time, that location was having problems with their computer system and I was bumped to the Baton Rouge south location. The reservation clerk at the airport location was kind enough to cancel the reservation on my behalf. I was charged a cancellation fee. I disputed the fee, to no avail. I called the hotel and spoke to the manager for assistance. The hotel manager refused to credit my agency credit card even though the cancellation was not my fault and despite the fact that this hotel chain makes an enormous amount of money from the agency I work for. In reading reviews, I see a lot of 1s for a variety of reasons. I recommend staying clear of this hotel.
