“I was a KinderCare baby so when it came time for me to pick a daycare, KinderCare was at the top of my list. I went to a handful of daycares but after speaking with the staff it was an obvious choice. Dropping my 8 week old off with strangers was one of the hardest things I've had to do... but I picked him up from family. Within a week, my child was sleeping through the night. Over the past 5 months, I have watched my baby roll over, sit up, start crawling, wanting to stand and I know a huge part of that is because of the wonderful people who watch him. There's nothing I love more than seeing my child light up when he sees his teachers... And I am so grateful that we're able to go into the classroom now so I get to walk in and see him playing and interacting with other babies. It is so great receiving my daily picture of my child and also having updates throughout the day of his food, potty, and sleep schedule. For parents who are anxious about choosing a daycare, know your baby is in great hands here.”

“My experience with KinderCare has always been nothing but the best. Both of my kids have attended Greenwell Springs location. I pull my daughter last year due to the pandemic. I’m so excited that I was able to get her back into KinderCare for the summer and she will be attending Pre-k program. My daughter is so excited to be back with her friends and teachers. We really missed our KinderCare family! I love all of the fun activities and how teachers and staff engage with the kids. I will recommend anyone who’s has kids 6weeks up to 4 years old to attend KinderCare on Greenwell Springs Road.”

Even in the moments where there were errors in my child's care by the teacher, I brought it to the director's attention and it was always handled promptly and with kindness. “Love this school! Have been to 2 other daycares in the area and really love how the staff has an open door policy, you don't have a set time you have to have them there in the morning because they know we are working parents and every second we can take with them is precious. Love the student workers because it gives the children a chance to learn new faces and they are all so sweet and caring. They do a wonderful job of teaching the children age appropriate "curriculum."I love that they follow a schedule and lesson plans daily, so I know my child is always learning new things! They also offer Happy Feet and Music Bus. They have music classes one a week. Great overall place for your babies to grow and play!”

“I attended Southside 26 years ago and was so excited when I moved back to Baton Rouge last year and had the opportunity to send my own son there!The new owners, as well as the incredible staff, have made my sons experience so great, which in turn is the best thing I could ask for as a parent. The new director has been great at communicating and making parents feel heard and included in their child’s care. I love that the class sizes are small, as well so I know my child is always being well looked after and attended too.Oh and not to mention, the chef at the school is phenomenal, we absolutely love the school meal fundraisers! He is a much better chef than I, and so my husband and son love when I bring home some of the chef’s plate dinners! That’s a #wifewin and a #momwin”

“Both of my babies attend KinderCare on O'Neal Ln. I've been in love with this facility since day one. There's nothing like having peace in knowing your children are safe and well cared for. This place is an actual LEARNING CENTER, not just a daycare. My children come home with something new to show Mommy and Daddy everyday!!! They have detailed curriculum for every class, even the infants; and send monthly focus plans to my email as well as updates. Holidays are the best!! Halloween Trunk or Treat was phenomenal! Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's/Father's Day are major events and the things they do and the way they engage parents is top notch. I can't say enough great things about this wonderful place.Updated Review... My previous review was 4 years ago. Wow! My youngest graduated from their PreK program in August. I cried because I'm going to miss this place so much. Mrs Genita, Pam, Alicia and all of the teachers have made a tremendous impact on our lives. We have recommended so many friends here, and those who chose to enroll have nothing but positive things to say. My son brought home his first progress report and has all As. He received his first DIBELS test and his scores are off the charts! I know it is because of the great foundation and rigor of KinderCare's curriculum and Mrs Sherry and Ms. Jazmine. Our daughter is also on A/B honor roll and her love for reading developed while in KinderCare, and grew tremendously thanks to Mrs. Journey. I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is, and every employee my children have interacted with here has loved them like their own.
