The absolutely NICEST lady named Tammy--just saw her again today!--works here as a cashier (also doing bagging for customers), and she makes my day. Food selection is very good. The price is right. And the store is in a convenient location. And don't forget the wonderful selection of quality products made in Italy for Rouse's brand, such as thin spaghetti (hard to find elsewhere) and bottled carbonated water and juices. I'm a native of New Orleans and reside in Baton Rouge, and Rouse's is the best!

Every time I come here, the salad bar is closed, covered over with paper towels. Why do y'all even have it if you're not going to make it available during lunch or dinner time?

Bakery dept here is a joke, my wife ordered a cake here. Made an order and paid for it same day, went to pick it up and was denied pick up. They had no record of it and the lady who made the order wasn’t there, my wife luckily was able to pull up her bank account to show the exact amount. This is a joke, who runs a business without proper paperwork or documentation of a sale.

Had the worst encounter today at Rouses on Bluebonnet. But was ever more surprised that the “rude lady” that was so disrespectful, was the front end manager. I get that no one wants to work on Memorial Day or any other holiday; so excuse me for being the customer that forgot something and had to make a last minute store run.
Embarrassing.

Love this store, in here so much the employees are starting to get used to me. They're friendly, the store is always clean and service is super fast. And there is always someone willing to help you find what you need. But don't try to buy a money order with your paycard at this store!

My favorite grocery store to visit while in baton rouge, the staff has great customer service... It's a very nice place and well put together... They always have a wide variety of things to choose from, plus I love the fact that they support locals that have products as well... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Went to Rouses this morning 2/14/24 on Bluebonnet @ Perkins BR location & bought a dozen red roses for $28.95
And came home and took out the plastic sleeve and 50% of all the red pestles & green leaves
Fell off . Bad investment from rouses. Don’t buy flowers from Rouses Please.

Arrived at the store at 8:50. There were 3 sausage patties, a few hash browns, and one piece of bacon on the breakfast line. I ask if the grits and eggs were going to be replenished as breakfast didn’t end until 10. The cook said no. Smh

Never has horizon organic whole milk cartons. Sometimes if you’re lucky you’ll find one or two once in a blue moon.

The ground beef we purchased was old, and they placed what appeared to be fresh beef around the old beef. Never shopping here again. They need to be investigated.

I was in here over the weekend to purchase a money order. The cashier in the money order/liquor section (Nannette) was incredibly rude, condesending and disrespectful. It was like she didn't want to do the money order because she asked how I was going to pay for it and she decided to tell a whole story about jow I should pay for a money order aftercI have paid for it. Then she wanted me to step aside while she takes care of other customers. I told her no, you take care of me first and that he can wait. It took her five minutes to do the money order and then she hung it over the counter as if she wanted to drop it in the floor instead of putting it in my hand. She needs to be retrained or some sort of action taken because customer service isn't her thing. I always shop here and this is the first time I was treated like I shouldn't here. I prefer the Arlington Creek store. Maybe Nannette needs to work there for a week and see how customer service works.

It is a decent grocery store and it seems to be clean and well stocked. However, the deli (sliced meat/cheese) and the hot bar are pretty much abandoned. There are a lot of people back there, and I can see them. But, rarely does anyone wait on the customers. And the hot buffet is pretty much left alone. It does not seem to be restocked after it is set out initially.
The previous store at that location had a fantastic hot bar and to-go meals. Lots of people came in.
Overall though, it’s a decent well stocked self service grocery store.

Staff is trash. I drive past 2 grocery stores to come here, only to watch 20 people waiting for 1 register. There are at least 8employees but none of them care; they are just talking to each other and walking around like they don’t see the massive line. Left my groceries and went to another store.
