I came to refuge aerial as a way to come out of my comfort zone and do something that looked really fun. This place definitely did that. Alaina was teaching us our intro to aerial class and she was beyond helpful and super nice. My husband and I did it together and had so much fun together! We will definitely back and I will be getting a membership. If you want to try something to get a little workout in over going to the gym this would be a great experience for anyone of any level of strength !

I was looking for something to do as a day date with my wife and came across Refuge Aerial. I reached out to get information and see if it was possible to do a private lesson to start out. Alaina reached out and set me up in no time with a private class. We had so much fun. Alaina was patient with explain everything step by step. She shows first then it's your turn to step up and give it a go. She encouraged and even cheered when poses were nailed (even if it wasn't the best looking arrow or mermaid). Her teaching made us feel so comfortable with trying something out of our comfort zone. My wife enjoyed it so much that she's talking about making the hour drive to be able to attend classes as well as additional private lessons. I'm excited for the possibility this could bring. I highly recommend this establishment the place is equipped, safe, and the staff is super friendly. Can't wait to go back!

My 16yo daughter wanted to try this class out. She had absolutely no experience and had a great time! She can't wait to go back and continue to learn and progress!

Took an intro class with my teenage daughter and had an absolute blast! Rebecca was an amazing instructor - funny, patient, and scaled the difficulty to our abilities. We'll definitely return in the near future. I really love that we can purchase class packages or one offs without a long term contract.
I highly recommend giving the intro class a try if you are at all curious about the aerial arts!

I booked a private session with Alaina at Refuge Aerial and it was absolutely phenomenal! I've been practicing with aerial silks for about 8 months in California and wanted to make sure I got a session in for the week while I was visiting for the holidays. Alaina was extremely knowledgeable, very nice, incredibly attentive, and super fun! I had an excellent time. She was able to improve how I execute a few basic skills and also taught me at least 3 new moves (that I'll dazzle my regular classmates with). I loved how trusting she was with the skills I already had and how she was able to figure out what would be reasonable to teach me rather than going way over my head or keeping it too simple. I thought it would be a challenging session since she didn't know me or my skill level before we met, but it was just TOO PERFECT! I would recommend this studio to anyone wanting to learn aerial silks, beginner or otherwise. Thank you Refuge Aerial! I will come back any time I visit the area!
